The historic city center with Sorø Academy, the Monastery Church, art museum, restaurants and specialty shops is two km away. The Ice Age Route (Route 44) and Munkevejen (Route 88) pass right by. The pilgrim route and two national cycling routes (N6 and N7) run five km south of Sorø.

The farm is located close to Gyrstinge forest (3 km) with delicious hiking trails, Gyrstinge lake (3 km) known for its rich bird species, Haraldsted lake (5 km), where you can take a dip and only 12 minutes drive into Ringsted city. The farm itself is very quietly located, where you can go for a walk in the area (the walk starts at a country road from which footpaths start)
