Located outside the village, this apartment offers you a very quiet & beautiful relaxing holiday. Far away from stress & noise, there are wide hiking trails in the immediate vicinity that lead in all directions. In addition to the great landscape, the Donnersbergkreis also offers many beautiful excursion destinations. Suitable for families, couples & nature lovers.

Above the castle village of Altleiningen, between oaks and locusts, two high glass gables rise. Modern wooden construction with light-flooded rooms and panoramic views over the valley. Otto's workshop has been transformed into a modern holiday loft with a freestanding bathtub integrated in the sleeping area, a sun terrace with stunning views into the distance & a fenced garden with a barrel sauna (for a fee) for the exclusive use of the guests. Dannenfels is located at the foot of the Donnersberg, in the middle of a wonderful hiking area. Restaurants & a cafe are within 5 minutes' walking distance. We welcome a maximum of 2 dogs (6 euros per night/dog).

Ideally located for excursions to the wine route or the Palatinate Forest.

Enjoy the tranquility of the place, which invites you to hike or linger in nature, or relax on a city trip to learn more about the history of the North Palatinate.

Room in a cozy farmhouse

We offer a small guest room in our cozy romantic farmhouse. The room is located in our barn and is equipped with a shower and sink. The toilet is located separately in the courtyard. The kitchen in the separate seminar house can also be used. The cozy courtyard invites you to linger. Also ideal for hikers, cyclists or motorcyclists in transit. Recently, we have a paid electric car charging station / wallbox in the yard.
