“The cottage was exactly as described and completely clean. Sue left a couple of scones, cream, home made jam and a pint of milk. Very helpful. I went for a quiet week and it suited me perfectly. There is very little noise, just the owls at night and the occcasional car. The cottage was warm in a cold November, but the conservatory did get a little cool in the evenings. Also the rain on the plastic conservatory roof can be loud. But close the sliding door into the bedroom and all is quiet. Dawlish is a pleasant town with interesting independent shops. You can walk on the wall between the railway and the sea north to Dawlish Warren and the walk to Teignmouth is also interesting, partly on roads and partly on the sea wall.”

“All expectations that we had were met and exceeded! The hot tub was perfect for the evenings and the amenities provided made staying here very comfortable. Everything needed to cook a meal is available in the kitchen and the cabin was sparkling clean! The location was great- only a couple minutes walk to the harbour and a few minutes drive from Dawlish. Melanie was attentive, always available when needed and made the stay at Little Guinea very enjoyable. The little touches of a homemade cake and a bottle of prosecco were a lovely thought from Mel and we would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay on the coast!”

“David was a very friendly and helpful host - on arrival we were delighted by a freshly baked loaf and a bottle of wine - a wonderful touch! The cottage has a lovely homely feel and had everything we needed to cook. The location is great and despite black clouds we managed some lovely walks around the local area. Al in all a really great stay!”
