My place is on Blue Ridge Parkway on mile post 191.4. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambience, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Two Bed Rooms (One King Size and one Queen size beds) Security Camera; One Camera is pointed at the front door. NO CAMERA POINTED AT THE DECK!!!!!! The cabin is surrounded by nature’s beauty and Big Reed Island river flows only feet from the front porch. Set on 32 acres, the cabin has a large porch with rocking chairs perfect to enjoy views of the river & mountains. New addition includes an outdoor shower! Please expect no internet, a TV for DVD/CDs only and limited cell reception. Truly unplug & relax.

Windsong Tree top yurt w/ hot tub

Windsong, nestled in the tree tops in the Blue Ridge Mountains, more of a treehouse than yurt! This yurt has internet, an upper deck w/ a hot tub and a lower deck with a gas firepit. There is an outside firepit with fire wood, and the yurt is comfortable year round with a minisplit, propane fireplace and a generator. Enjoy the soaking tub in the bathroom and the walk in tiled shower. A hammock hangs beneath the yurt, and there are two other yurts at different elevations for privacy.

2020 marks the 100-year-old birthday to this charming farmhouse, located on a working horse farm within the town of Hillsville. It has been meticulously redecorated in 2015-16, with an elegantly simple flavor. The peace and quiet of this country setting is unsurpassed. You’ll love watching horses over your morning coffee. The house sleeps 8 and there is table seating for 21, in case family stops by. Ask about the horse whispering experience.
