Ninho dos Avós is a quiet retreat located in the beautiful rural parish of Santa Bárbara, which belongs to the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo. Here you can enjoy the countryside and its tranquility. You will have magnificent views of the green countryside with the sea in the background, and you can also see the neighboring islands of Pico and São Jorge. Ninho dos Avós, as the name suggests, was the house where our grandparents lived, here we have many good memories and where we were happy with them and did not know.

The property is full of protected endemic trees found only in the Azores and protected birds including Cory’s Shearwater with their curious singing just before sunrise and after sunset in residence between March and October. The house is located on a quiet small street with a wonderful 180° panoramic view of the ocean. You and your family can enjoy the meal on a quiet and private terrace with a view of the green meadows and the ocean. You can even see cows grazing in the neighboring green fields and sunset on the right sight of terrace. Entire area of terrace is 180m2. It is a lovely place to spend a peaceful private vacation, especially for 2 families or 2 couples. Enjoy the whole house in private!
