We rebuilt the old clay frameworks, uncovered the ancient floorboards and only the finest clay paint was used on the walls. The hideaway is rounded off by a small cast iron fireplace for the evenings and a private sauna on the edge of the field... We love children 🧡🌟 4 cats and 1 dog live on the farm ;-)

Unser "Schwalbennest" ist "junges Wohnen unterm Dach" und für 2 bis 4 Personen geeignet. 1 Doppelbett, 2 Einzelbetten. Eine Stiege führt nach oben wo einst Mägde, Knecht und Kutscher bis ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wohnten. Der Lehmbau ist noch gut erkennbar und wurde liebevoll saniert, so dass Gäste das Lebensgefühl der damaligen Lebensweise gut nachempfinden können. DU/Jap,.-WC und Pantryküche sind nach neuem Standard. Und es gibt W-LAN. Wir haben immer ein Baby-Bettchen bereit!

We rent this beautiful apartment in our large, rustic farmhouse, which we have lovingly renovated exclusively with natural building materials. The apartment faces southeast and you can have breakfast in the morning sun. It has everything you need for cooking and when the moon rises you can light a small fire in the garden. In the Mecklenburg Lake District, there are an incredible number of great lakes and you can go cycling & hiking. Blankensee/Meckl. even has a train station.

In the garden you will find 2 terraces, an outdoor hot tub with 35 degrees water temperature, a shed and 2 parking spaces.

The small swimming beach is only 300 meters away, where the water landscape of the Müritz invites you to swim, paddle or take another boat tour. Day trips by car offer beautiful destinations.

It is predominantly located on the roundabout side and is characterized by the cozy kitchen for amateur chefs and the luxurious nostalgic bathroom with a cast iron bathtub and views of the estate park. The classic living room with south-facing windows and a French double bed as well as the bedroom with an extra-long double bed invite you to linger.

In the past 5 years, we have renovated the Zahren estate house with great effort and ecologically (clay plaster) and largely according to historical models but also with modern accents. The manor house, including the spacious common rooms on the first floor and a total of 4 apartments, can also be rented as an offsite location or privately individually or as a whole. It is located in a landscape park on approx. 20,000 square meters, which can be shared by our guests.
