Settle down in front of the quirky, bike-mounted TV for a movie night at an eclectic abode steps from cozy coffee houses and bakeries. Upcycled furniture, exposed air ducts, and a patchwork timber kitchen wall create an unusual interior. Best suited for adults The apartment is fully stocked with all bed linens and pillows, for all of the sleeping surfaces. There are extra pillows, blankets and sheets in the baskets in each room, if needed. I keep all of my cleaning products in closet in the living room, and guests are welcome to use these if they need/want to. I value our guest's privacy, but will be available if needed. The apartment is in the heart of Downtown Black Mountain on Cherry Street, and just three blocks to Lake Tomahawk. This quaint historical town boasts easy access to hiking, mountain biking, golfing, shopping, breweries and sightseeing. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. Uber is available. Asheville City bus line also available. This space is located above the owner's shop, so if anything is needed by our guests, we are available.

Acorn cottage

This little cottage feels like summer camp. It sits in the woods like a camp cabin but there is something about these old knotty pine walls that just brings you back. We think it is important to sleep well. We have a comfy (Casper matress) king size bed (nothing like your bed at summer camp) and great pillows. We are just two blocks from downtown Black Mountain with great restaurants , a wonderful coffee shop, and delicious ice cream. We are also just a five minute drive from hiking in Montreat

Welcome to Scout's Den! A cozy retreat walkable to all of Black Mountain's amazing restaurants and shopping. This adorable garden studio is separate from the main house and has a carport with space for one vehicle. This is truly an escape! With no internet we encourage our guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains and our small town charm. We do have a TV with a Super Nintendo and DVD player if you feel like staying in. We live on the property full time with our sweet dog and family.
