The apartment is located in the basement of our house and some noise from the family is to be expected. Combined kitchen and living room, a toilet/bath, an entry hall and a bedroom with one queen size bed and two bunk beds. The terrace is furnished with garden furniture, and there is wifi, tv, cromecast and parking near the entry door. Two extra beds can be made in the living room. The apartment is located at the east end of a beautiful farmhouse from 1874 with large garden and outdoor areas. There is a private entrance and south-facing terrace, as well as a bathroom and kitchen with a fridge - all overlooking the garden. Parking is available in the courtyard around a large old lime tree. The apartment is centrally located towards both city and nature - with only 3 km to fishing and walking at Løgten Strand, and about 20 minutes drive to Aarhus and Mols Bjerge.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

The apartment is equipped with 2 box mattresses and a sofa bed that can be made into a double bed There is a new kitchen and bathroom. Close to forest and nature. Walking distance to supermarket (Rema 1000). Large playground available a few meters from the house (Skåde School). Beautiful viewpoint at Kattehøj hill, which is a 10-minute walk from the house.
