Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, guests can enjoy access to three private lakes (bring your own kayak/paddleboard) and miles of rugged ranch trails, perfect for hiking and riding. Our property offers a true backcountry experience, so please know that while our trails are maintained, guests should expect natural terrain and a more rugged experience than what you would experience at a state park.

On 60 acres, lots of dirt roads, and a rough rocky dry creek to explore. hummingbirds, jack rabbits, deer to keep you amused. Several clear cool swimming holes on the Nueces River just minutes away. A quiet family friendly getaway perfect to unwind, relax, bird watch and disconnect from everyday life. Wi-fi is not available. Sleeps up to six people. Bottom level has a full size bed, full bath, fully stocked kitchen,stove, full size refrigerator, coffee bar, screened in porch. One bathroom inside and half bath outside. Located 16 miles N. of Uvalde, bumpy entrance road is 1.2 miles N. of Chalk Bluff. Park. The cabin is 1/4 mile, walking distance to the clear, beautiful Nueces River.

This peaceful cabin is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country, close to Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Park and Hill Country State Natural Area. Drive through the Hill Country on the Twisted Sisters, enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Close by, you can enjoy floating or swimming in the Frio River and the Sabinal River at the Utopia Park. Utopia has a renowned golf course featured in the movie Seven Days in Utopia. Concan 20 miles away also has a golf course.

Just outside the cottage doors is Nomad's rustic open air barn, perfect for relaxing, playing games and dining.

Charming 100+ yr old ranch house on private acreage with great views. Large patio & fenced back yard are great for kids/pets. Excellent star gazing. Wildlife feeders. We use this home ourselves and have young kids, so it is stocked better than most rentals and (relatively) kid friendly. Near Lost Maples Park (less than 10 min), Garner Park (30 min), Utopia (10 min), Leakey (20 min), Medina (20 min).

El Casa Vista on Twisted Sister 336.

If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, this is your spot. You won't see many cars pass by on Ranch Road 336. You will see deer, cattle, birds and other wildlife. Star gazing at night is a treat! The property is 18 miles north of Leakey, so it is easy to get to the Frio River and find good places to eat or drive to one of the state parks nearby. Garner State Park and Los Maples are fun day trips.
