A bamboo pyramid house located in the cool mountains of Valencia, Dumaguete. It is only about 20 minutes from downtown, Dumaguete. The house is surrounded by nature and a quiet and relaxing cool place to stay in the hills.
“Cheap, clean, very organized, practical place. Kind host. Also we got many advices from a guest named Charlie. There are many beautiful spots to discover around. Our favorite were the hot springs. The cons: the washing machine didn’t work when we stay there. We could give our laundry to the helper, who charged 30peso per kg, very cheep. Unfortunately we didn’t use the swimming pool as it seemed dirty and out of use. Still we had a great time here and we recommend the place. But do not expect luxury, the price is cheap because the place is simple, but very nice and with a big kitchen to share, where you get our own fridge, big plus +!”
Quite, peaceful, and relaxing for those who want to replenish and refresh oneself from the outside world. Straight ahead to our place is easy access to Jaquira Bar and Pit Stop where you can buy drinks and short orders and party to till you drop. Feel free, explore, and be comfortable in your staycation!
“By far the best Airbnb experience I've ever encountered. Extremely nice hosts who went above and beyond for us. Invited us to a lechon birthday party on a boat and cottage at the white sandbar. It was fantastic authentic Philippines experience. Thanks again! Place itself was clean with great location. If in Bais don't hesitate to rent this place, even if not in Bais you should go check this place out for the white sandbar.”
Perched dramatically near a cliff with stunning views of a jungle valley and clear stream. Cliff house is also a restaurant.
“We stayed for a month at the unique Cliff House. It was great. We loved the location and food and people and climate - cool, breezy, misty - compared to Dumaguete. The space is different - inside the grounds of a restaurant business; but nice, clean, comfortable, great views -- with fantastic western style food available on-site. We already miss the incredible burgers. Jenny and the staff were very kind and friendly. Super nice people in the area too. The rental scooter was also a huge help - as it is a long steep trip down to Valencia (but motor taxis and trikes are available and cheap too). There are some ants, and a few barking dogs (no roosters tho), and some road noise - but no problem. Overall, this place is wonderful and a terrific value. Thanks Jenny.”
