Charming apartment in the former Hotel Astoria in the Frankenberg district. The apartment is lovingly furnished and offers everything one needs for a stay outside of your own home. The kitchen corner is equipped with a toaster , kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, stove, fridge and all kinds of everyday needs. The 140m x200m new box spring bed ,as well as a table with chairs and a double sofa complete the living space. As a small "highlight", a small bay window invites you to have a magnificent view of the Oppenhoffallee. Amenities also include a small stereo system, a TV and Wi-Fi. In the bathroom there is a separate toilet and a bathtub with rain shower. The apartment has 30 square meters is on the 3rd floor with an elevator.

The lovingly renovated apartment is located in the former carriage hall of an historic building. (approx. 60 sqm) The adjacent park, with rare trees, invites you to take a tour. Here you can find rest and time to relax. Although you are in the middle of nature, it only takes 10 minutes to downtown. The apartment is located on the 1st floor and is accessible via an external staircase. There is also a small terrace that can be used. The interior walls are plastered with clay plaster, the floor is laid with plank boards. The apartment is located in a quiet side street. Public transport (bus and train) is very close. A regular connection to Aachen, Herzogenrath or the Netherlands can be reached in a 10-15 minute walk.

In our house (10 km from the city centre) you will find a separate one-room-apartment with own kitchenette and bathroom. It's easy to get to the city by car (15-20 minutes), turning to the other direction it’s a short way to Eifel, Hohes Venn and Monschau. Check-in from 3.00 p.m. Check-out by 12.00 noon (Early Check-in and late check-out may be possible by appointment, depending on connecting bookings.)
