Both the living room and the kitchen have a wood-burning stove, in addition to floor and wall heating. The kitchen has a 6-burner gas stove, a large oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher and various appliances. The designer bed is in the living room. On your private terrace is the outdoor shower. 'The Birdhouse' is hidden amongst the trees in a quiet spot on park Bosrijk Ruighenrode. In the garden you can spot many birds and squirrels. It is a great place for people who like walking and cycling! Three of the four bedrooms, one bathroom (with a shower in the bathtub) and a separate toilet are situated downstairs. The luxery bathroom upstairs has a sauna and steamcabine. It is a great place to stay with kids and there is ample space. Come and visit the house to enjoy the peace and quiet!

Privacy and hospitality are key words for us. You will have a light living room, a complete kitchen and bathroom, a bedroom, two more beds in a small loft, a veranda and a small yard. Culture and culinary experiences are plentiful in the area. Downstairs, everything is on the ground floor. People with physical disabilities are also welcome. National monument from 1621

Always wanted to stay in one of Deventer's oldest houses? In my fairytale house (a national monument from 1621) there is fortunately much of the history in tact; the high front room, the low old ribs on the 1st floor (beware of your head) and the beautiful niches. Parts of the house even date from the 14th century and have survived the great city fire in that century. The house is on a quiet street a stone's throw from the IJssel and the best restaurants Deventer owns.

A bicycle shed is provided. The cottage is heated or cooled downstairs by an air conditioner. The sleeping loft is unheated and really cold in winter. There is an electric radiator. In short, enjoy this beautiful area. Not suitable for those with disabilities. Without breakfast.
