On the outskirts of the city but very quiet in the middle of the meadows, you are most welcome in our AirBNB Aan de Kaai... From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik), on the border of the provinces of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

Bakhuisje on the Lek

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Ideal for fishermen, cyclists, bird watchers, hikers and other nature lovers, water sports enthusiasts can also indulge here. Private free parking. Sleeping area can be split so that everyone has their own privacy during the night's rest (see photos). A well-stocked bookcase, a private kitchen, shower and toilet are at your disposal. In de Cherry Cottage kom je tot rust en kan je genieten van het prachtige uitzicht over de weilanden. Dit stijlvol ingerichte red ceder huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. De hout gestookte hottub kan bijgeboekt worden voor €50 per keer en geeft een Scandinavische beleving en is inclusief vers water, krat hout en hamamdoeken. U kunt een extra avond genieten van de hottub voor €20. Betaling vindt plaats tijdens het verblijf, liefst contant. Ontbijt is mogelijk in overleg voor €15 pp va 9u

Hay barn with charm in a traditional Dutch landscape

Along meadows with knot willows, you drive into a cozy village. At the church, you turn into a dead-end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that is exactly the feeling we would like to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Water-Meadow cottage in central Holland 2A+2C+2C

The cottage is a renovated barn in the back, overlooking the meadows in the beautiful area of Schoonrewoerd. The 1 bedroom cottage is fully equiped , Kitchen, Bathroom and a 2nd toilet. It is 60 sq/m big and can host up to 4 people. Ideally 2 adults & 2 children, but 4 adults is possible (for a few days) but it might be a bit crowdy. You can enjoy your own private garden near the water, you will have easy and private access to the cottage via the right side of our farmhouse.

Monumental renovated farm house (near Utrecht)

We propose to you our characteristic spacious farm house to enjoy nature with your family or a group, max. 7 adults. Children are very welcome, but the house is not equipped with stair gates, etc. Located in the farmlands, while very centrally in the country and only 2 minutes from the highway just south of Utrecht. The house is fully renovated and equipped with all necessities. Several biking and walking routes pass by the farm. The nearest shopping mall is 2 km away.

The old Wagenschuur on the river Lek.

This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old carriage house, of which old beams have remained visible as much as possible. The cottage is located in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental Krukhuis farm, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage has its own outdoor seating. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.

Rural apartment

Feel at home in our cozy apartment in the middle of rural Nieuwland. A beautiful view of the polder and over "de Vliet". It is a good base for cycling along the Linge or a day of fishing at one of the many fishing spots nearby. Of course, you can also just "stay at home" because the apartment has everything for a relaxing stay. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped with every modern comfort.
