The beautiful village of Hamsterley boasts village greens and a fantastic local country pub. Enjoy a break with well behaved dogs and children more than welcome. A large enclosed garden with a low wall allows uninterrupted views over countryside and enjoyment of our many animals, incl alpacas.

Haven Cottage is a self contained detached 2 bed stone cottage in rural Cotherstone near Barnard Castle. You have exclusive use. Set on a quiet lane, the converted stable overlooks open meadows. Outside is a patio garden & furniture. Enter via a double height dining hall, to an open plan kitchen and living room, traditionally furnished with exposed beams and deep window recesses. Downstairs is a large bathroom (bath & walk in power shower). Upstairs two large bedrooms with reading chairs.

Angate Holiday Cottage

Angate Cottage is a delightful 2 bedroom deceptively large period cottage circa 1750, situated in the heart of the historic market town of Wolsingham, the gateway to Weardale, by the River Wear. Located 15 miles from Durham City and 17 miles from Barnard Castle. Wolsingham is a small market town looking much as it did hundreds of years ago with many stone built listed buildings, period features and links to its long history. Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.
