Deichhaus Rysum on the North Sea

The special location of the cottage directly on the dike on the North Sea coast in a secluded location makes it unique. Surrounded by dyke and fields, it is centrally located between Emden and Greetsiel. Bicycle tours and extensive walks on the North Sea have their charm in all seasons. Not only in summer, but also in spring, autumn and winter, this spot of earth is balm for the soul. Baker and mill café (open on Saturdays from April to September) are in the village. By bike it is 20 minutes to the sea.

Bathroom with hand and rain shower, complete kitchen with 4-burner stove, dishwasher, fridge with freezer and an oven. Table with comfortable chairs for eating or working. Two armchairs for relaxing and a terrace with chairs and a table with a phenomenal unobstructed view over the fields with the Midwolder forest on the horizon. In the cottage of Oogstwold you can relax. It is the perfect base on the outskirts of the Oldambtmeer. It is very characteristic, old and new elements come together. The cottage (75m2) is completely independent with its own parking space and front door (including the possibility for contactless check-in). The cottage can accommodate 2 to max 4 people. Due to height differences, steep stairs and varying ceiling heights, it is not accessible to people with mobility impairments.

It is one of the most beautiful places on the lake with the particularly beautiful evening sun over the beautiful Paterswoldsemeer. It is a rare and quiet place.

There is the possibility to set up an existing travel crib for toddlers. In the living room there is a sofa bed which also offers two additional sleeping places. Daylight bathroom with shower, toilet and washing facilities. Spacious bright kitchen with up to five seats and high chair.
