Abbey view is a hidden gem, situated on Bagdale. The cottage is a short walking distance from the centre of Whitby with restaurants, cafes and pubs on hand. The cottage itself is split over three levels and as per the namesake, the property boasts views of the Abbey from the lounge balcony. The bi-fold doors lead to the balcony which is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks. Although recently renovated, Abbey View retains its original charm with beautiful furnishings throughout.

Situated on Whitby's prestigious West Cliff with beautiful sea views. This modern apartment includes a master bedroom with ensuite & king size bed and a twin bedroom with a balcony. There is a family bathroom. The apartment block is opposite a spectacular beach and a short stroll to the centre of Whitby. Parking is offered on a first come first served basis on our private car park. free scratch cards for on street parking are also included. Situated on the 1st floor, accessed by lift or stairs.

Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

Stylishly & comfortably furnished, the ground floor is roomy & open plan with a wood burner & under floor heating. The mezzanine bedroom has a super comfortable King size bed & bath.

The bedroom features a spacious bed covered in soft bedding, complemented by bedside tables with lamps. A vintage freestanding bath is positioned near the window, while warm light emanates from wall sconces. Wooden flooring adds a natural touch to the overall atmosphere.

The Shoemakers Cottage has undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby right at the bottom of the 199 steps tucked in a quiet alley off the cobbled street. A small but cosy romantic cottage over 3 floors close to the harbour, the abbey and very close to Tate Hill Beach. BBQ and picnic basket set provided. Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

Sandside Retreat is situated in the heart of Whitby’s Old Town, at the foot of the iconic 199 steps leading to the Abbey. ; whilst tucked away for peace and quiet. Just a stone’s throw away from Tate Hill Sands, harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. Sleeping up to 3 guests, it features a cosy living room with separate kitchen/diner. There is a private patio which overlooks the sea towards the East Pier. Unlike many cottages to the East Side, there are no steps leading up to the cottage.

The bedroom features a spacious bed with crisp white linens and a vibrant yellow bedspread. A framed artwork is displayed above the bed, complemented by bedside lighting. Natural light filters through a partially curtained window, illuminating the cozy decor and a small desk area with a mirror.

Free nearby parking (using a supplied scratchcard). See Whitby Abbey from the front door and the cliff top from the end of the road. Shop around the corner for milk, bread, newspaper or wine.
