Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

Artists' farm with a site trailer and wild art in the countryside

If you are longing for a break and want to enjoy the luxury of simplicity in a special atmosphere, this is the place to be. The lovingly designed showman's trailer with wood stove is located on a heritage-listed artists' courtyard (built in 1805). In the warm season, the Wilde Werk – a creative meeting place with a kitchen, studio and plenty of space to linger – invites you to enjoy, work or be creative. Whether you want to slow down or go hiking in the nearby Geo-Naturpark, both are possible here.

The house is located on a large property on the outskirts, very nicely laid out with a large courtyard and parking spaces (wallbox €0.35/kWh). There are many opportunities to sit and relax in the garden. EDEKA market with bakery are on site.

The village of Altefeld is located on a high plateau with stud farms mainly for horse breeding around 1900. Relax in an artistically stylishly furnished apartment, which formerly served as the teacher's apartment of the old stud farm school. Strong natural stone walls and fences surround the 3000 m² ambience with plenty of space and free run for dogs. The quiet location amidst fields, paddocks and forests can easily be combined with history, art and culture.

In the middle of Germany is our very nice and modernly furnished apartment for up to 6 people plus a toddler (travel cot) with a cozy covered terrace. In the idyllic little village of Barlissen between Göttingen, Hann Münden and Kassel. Everything is very quickly accessible by car and 5 minutes from the Drammetal highway junction Very recommended for families, friends, work colleagues and craftsmen, everyone is welcome with us :) Car is an advantage!

The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Holiday apartment "Zum Rosenborn" - Wanfried

Visit the beautiful half-timbered town of Wanfried in northern Hesse. Wanfried is located in the Werra-Meissner district and borders Thuringia. Here you can hike, walk, cycle, swim, canoe on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. Our apartment is completely refurbished, equipped with a new kitchen and a new bathroom. Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
