Relax in the woods at this middle of nowhere location for our Mongolian Ger (yurt)! Are you up for a back to basic experience full of candlelight, birdsongs, dirt roads and a smoking hot fireplace? The round space and unique structure are peaceful and serene. Kilo's of sheepskin keep the Ger cool in summer and warm in winter. With renting out the Ger I'm gathering funds to support projects that support Mongolian nomads. Enjoy the woods and this special home and contribute to cleaner steppes!
“A stay in the yurt is a unique experience. The yurt is also completely decorated in style and makes the stay even more a complete experience. You have a lot of space and can take lovely walks. Staying in a yurt is luxurious and comfortable camping in a beautiful environment.”
“A very attractive yurt that is decorated in the style as it should be. All beds are fine and we slept wonderfully. The stove heats the yurt very easily. We cook with Especially done outside on a burner that you brought with you. A set of chairs and table for outside is handy to bring yourself, we had done this and therefore could sit outside as well as inside. <br / > Do you want to go back to basics .... then this is a really nice experience!”
The whole apartment is for your use only; separate frontdoor. It is situated in the centre of the charming old town. As the windows towards the street are with special panes, you have no problem with noise from the traffic. Rhenen is situated in the province of Utrecht, close to Gelderland, so it is more or less in the middle of the Netherlands. By train it will take you about 1,5 hour to get to Amsterdam; to Utrecht about 1/2 hour by train and to Arnhem about 1/2 by bus.
“A nice classic and spacious apartment on the ground floor in the heart of pretty Rhenen. Gerard showed us around on arrival and he and Nina kindly provided breakfast and other amenities. A short walk to the river, which has a beautiful view and beaches to the right of 'Moeke'. Great hiking over the Grebbeberg. Aaaand Ouwehands dierenpark is worth a visit too. Keep in mind most restaurants are closed on Sunday.”
