Welcome to our quietly located, completely renovated farm from the 19th century. century. A cozy, sun-drenched apartment with 69 square meters awaits you on the second floor. There are 2 bedrooms (total 6 sleeping places) and a large living/dining area with integrated kitchen, which invites you to cook and enjoy together. Bicycle and farm roads lead you to various excursion destinations in the surrounding area. Honey is available from our own bees. We are happy to introduce you to the world of beekeeping.

The master bedroom with a double bed and TV, kitchen and shower room can also be booked separately. Please note that the second bedroom can only be accessed through the master bedroom. So this is then a PASSAGEWAY ROOM! Our accommodation is located in the village. Rural and (mostly) quiet. The immediate surroundings are ideal for bicycle rides and walks in the woods. Shopping for basics such as groceries is available ~ 4 km away. The district capital of Diepholz is ~ 10 km away.

Historic Cottage for nature lovers

Our little bakery originally dates back to the 17th century and belonged to a large Lower Saxony farm, which unfortunately no longer exists. Jutta acquired the house a good 20 years ago and made it into a small oasis with a lot of love for detail. Located in a village of 1000 inhabitants with a village store, bank and gas station, you can find peace and relaxation under the huge oak trees. Expanded bike paths invite you to cycle. The rural environment offers plenty of nature.

Our beautiful, bright apartment is surrounded by meadows and fields in Vlotho-Wehrendorf. Surrounded by many animals and nature, you can forget everyday life here. The large garden invites you to linger. But also in the immediate vicinity you can find great excursion destinations. Due to the good transport connections, this apartment is also particularly suitable for trade fair visitors, business people, fitters or also for motorcyclists on a big tour.

Pretty countryside apartment

This pretty apartment is located in an old half-timbered house very close to the Neustädter Moor. Ideal for walking, cycling or crane watching. The Dümmer can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. In the village there is a swimming pool, a variety of shops and restaurants. The Ströhen Zoo and the Moor Worlds can be found in the neighboring village. The apartment is fully equipped, has a double bedroom and in the living room there is a sofa bed.

Living in the (tiny) house - idyll in Crane Land!

Relaxed, quiet atmosphere for stargazers! Idyllic garden house on former farm in a very quiet location. Ideal for cyclists and country lovers, far away from cities and villages. In good weather, stargazers can admire the Milky Way, as the view is so clear at night. During the day you can just sit down and listen to the birds and in the evening enjoy the chirping of the crickets with wine. Starting in October, the cranes move into the country.

Pappelheim

In the north of the Dümmer Nature Park, between the Diepholz bog lowlands and Rehden Geestmoor, where the cranes winter, lies this small half-timbered house in a very quiet rural location. There is a kitchen, 1 living room, 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom and the attic studio available on approx. 70 m² of living space. Terrace, garden and parking at the house are included. Smokers and urinators must stay outside. Dogs are allowed in, but not in bed.

Large bright guest apartment

Spacious attic apartment in a bungalow with its own staircase from the common hallway. The house is located in a residential area on the outskirts of town and is an ideal starting point for bike tours (e.g. to Lake Dümmer or to the zoo in the neighboring village) or for crane watching in the adjacent moors. Likewise, the apartment is suitable for fitters or professionals, for example, as a transitional solution (also for longer periods).

Circus wagon on the alpaca pasture - pure relaxation!

At Alpakahof Strange, we live with many animals on an old farmstead from 1848. The Lower Saxony hall house is still in its original condition in some parts and exudes the charm of a long-gone rural tradition. In the pasture behind the farmhouse stands the spacious circus wagon. The wagon shares the pasture with our llamas and alpacas, who graze and rest there during the day. Pure relaxation!

The 120 sqm apartment is half of a farmhouse from 1898 and has been renovated. Surrounded by fields, the house is in a secluded location and is perfect for enjoying nature and tranquility. There is a garden with terrace and also a grill available on request. From the south terrace you can see over fields to the nearby Wiehn Mountains.
