In June, pick cherries for homemade jam. There’s grassy space for sports, a semi-shaded courtyard, and colourful rooms with upcycled furniture by local artists. Nearby: castles, Futuroscope, and cozy ing up playing board games by the wood burner in winter.

La Maison Mignonne is renovated stone cottage, situated in a quiet hamlet in the Haute-Vienne region of South West France. It has been sympathetically restored, combining traditional character with contemporary comfort. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), bathroom (with bath and shower), and open plan lounge-kitchen downstairs. The barque is ready on the river, wonderful swimming in front of the door or further on at the Moulin de Remerle or the Moulin du Pré.
