Farm in the middle of a wild garden

Our cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Ostrý, which is surrounded by vast pastures and forests of the Jistebnická vrchovina Nature Park. There used to be a farm here, of which only the stables and the swallows nesting in them remain today. Around the cottage is a large natural garden, which we use partly as a utility and partly as an ornamental garden. On one side, the garden ends with a pond, a road and a neighboring house, on the other sides it passes into an open landscape. There is a cat in the garden and in the house and a hen in the yard.

Chata Simterka

Chata Šimterka has been completely renovated and modernized. There is a swimming pool right next to the cottage, and in the lower part of the complex there is a great Finnish sauna. The Otava River is about 100 m from the cottage. On the ground floor of the cottage, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a sofa bed (2 beds) and a bathroom with a toilet and a shower. On the first floor there is a bedroom with 4 beds (1 double bed, 2 single beds). The cottage has two beautiful terraces.

The surroundings encourage you to take a walk in the forest, pick mushrooms or visit a monument I can arrange fishing permits for fishermen. Our cottage is located in a semi-secluded forest by the Stropnice River. Although it may not look like it at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they are not visible from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the terrace. There is no wifi in the cottage, so enjoy the time spent together.
