Due to the location, there is a lot of privacy. You can also bake your own pizza in the brick oven!! "Gastenverblijf De Hucht" itself is 87 m2 and equipped with all the necessary luxury. The front house of this small characteristic Betuwe T-farmhouse from 1850, is decorated with a mix of design furniture, Dutch masters on the wall, modern art and cheerful quilts on the beds. Equipped with all modern conveniences (but there is no cooking facility). Located in a quiet place on the dike, outside the built-up area, with access to the floodplains within walking distance.

Outside, you can encounter all kinds of animals, like a hare or a pheasant. And of course the chickens and the alpacas. On the lounge set you see from the guesthouse, you can relax. Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
