The residence is located about 30 minutes from Tromsø Airport, in the direction of Sommarøy. Car is recommended! The accommodation is in scenic surroundings, allowing nature experiences such as northern lights, mountain hikes or just a quiet evening around the fire pit on the terrace to be enjoyed. Amazing views and a quiet area where you can enjoy idyllic mountains and natural surroundings. The Northern Lights season is from September to April. If there is clear weather, it will dance in the sky directly from the living room window. Many unique hiking destinations on foot and by boat that the host can inform about if needed and have maps available in the house.

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

In Tromsø you can experience the northern lights from late August to mid-April. To see the northern lights, it must be dark. All inclusive. towel etc. Fresh, cold drinking water from the tap. 1 min to bus stop. 5 min bus to the city centre. 15 minute walk to the city centre. By agreement and fee of 300 NOK possibility to use sauna with snow bath. Best suited for up to three. If there are two couples, one bed is 120 meters wide and the other 140.

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available.
