If you are a large family or a smaller group (max 8), Sophielund is the perfect place for fun and activities. Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

Free coffee, tea and in the fridge I have left some drinking and quick food if you arrive late as you should feel free to take . No TV but wifi. Small tea kitchen with microwave, toaster and actifry. I live within a short distance so can quickly be there if you need help or need anything.

Newly built annex from 2024 in a quiet setting. Located 10 km from Herning and 12 min drive from Messe Center Herning. It is furnished with a double bed (140x200 cm), a table, two chairs, a bathroom with bath and toilet, and a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Service is available. The annex is heated and has hot water.
