Random Point is a quiet, isolated oasis on a private, 300 ft beach cove on Lake Superior with a trout pond and 10 wooded acres. Both rentals and the outdoor sauna have stunning views of the Lake. This enchanted location is 5 miles from downtown Mqt with easy access to the University, restaurants, shops, hiking & biking trails. Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.

Our cottage is across the street from the South shore of Munising Bay, next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with Lake Superior kayaking, biking, hiking, ORV and snowmobile trails, and multiple waterfalls nearby. For hikers, the North Country Trail passes by the font door. A public fishing pier is across the street at the mouth of the Anna River. Close to restaurants, the beach, and fishing. Great base camp for Ice fishing on Lake Superior right across the street. Sorry no pets!

You’ll love my place because of its serene surroundings in front of the river. It is a beautiful custom log cabin in a beautiful area. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Nothing fancy but functional and cozy!
