Despite the collapses, the view of the Pedres Castle from the north still makes it seem mighty and impregnable today. The castle characterizes the entire southern part of the Olbiese basin, entirely dominated by the building despite the fact that it stands on a rock of only 89 meters.

CASTELLO DI PEDRES 10 mins driving It is a historic building that once was the seat of a privileged Judicial residence. It is a fort, dating back to the Middle Ages, built in local stone in the mid-thirteenth century

Castle on top of a hill with great views. A few steps to reach the top but worth it for views of Olbia. Opposite you can also find the Tombs of the Giants, an ancient spiritual rock formation.

The castle dominates the landscape, rising up from rocks 89 metres high. The ruins comprise a double fence. According to most versions, the castle dates back to between 1296 and 1322.
