This is a great activity to do with your family. Everybody has fun at minigolf. This one is in Del Mar but it is just so much fun that it is worth the drive. No matter your age, you can go with friends or family. You can choose 18 or 36 holes (worth it).

Mini-golf, driving range and top notch pro instruction. I've taken lessons here. Played mini golf. 100's of days at the driving range. Nice way to spend a few hours.
