Great dinner! You feel you travelled back in time. This place is a Coronado Classic. It gets crowded so go early. Yoh can have a milkshake with your pancakes while you listen to oldies but goodies.

Love this little cafe with good pastries. It has a really nice ambiance. You can sig in the back patio or inside. During summer and breakfast it gets crowded so plan ahead and put on a tolerant vibe.

This place is beautiful. I love the decor and the way they planned this. It is located in little italy but it has more a vibr of a french bistro with fish and oysters and fresh seafood fountains.
Amazing to go on a date or with friends in the evening or late afternoon.

Located in Northpark neighborhood. I personally haven’t been there yet but it is in my list of places to go. In 30th street threre are several reataurants that are ideal for a night out with your friends.

This is a great restaurant for family and friends. italian with an excellent view. If you go at 3pm and sit at the bar you can enjoy pizza and pastas for $10 USD aprox.

Right by the little italy street sign there is a yellow house with some statues that I find quite peculiar since there is aleays this italian man sitting with a red track suit or a versace jacket just reading newspaper and magazines. He has a golden shiny bently parked outside and he is part of the aightseeing landmarks of little utaly since yoh feel you are watching a retired madia boss in italy but in the middle of san diego!

Sightseeing
Love coming to the landing and not only walking around but renti g a bike for 6 people and cruise along the bay. Great if you go and walk around, see llittle shops, people watch, buy a kite, visit the magic store, buy hats and souvenirs and eat an icecream or have a beer. Very close to the Aircraft carrier SSMidway which you can also visit.

La Jolla cove is a great place yo walk and have a picnic. There are seals in one of the small beaches and you can see them and amell them from pretty close. It has Several shops and restaurants, galleries and shopping very close by. I love just walking around and seeing the ocean.

Yes. Sea World is controversial for some but for me it is amazing. It is the place where I met Shamu and learned about sea animals, how the look, behave, live, eat, feel. I think that if you have kids this is a must!!!! However If you are against places like sea world, then just skip this recommendation and move along.

It runs around 95 a single day or 105 with the aquarium. if it is your girst time, the park is enough, otherwise your kids might be too tired to visit the aquarium.

Ways to save
Plan grocery shopping.
Supermarkets in Coronado are super expensive. I go to Northgate Gonzalez Market. There is one in Barrio logan just under the bridge and another in Chula vista. It is not the nicest pmace for shopping experience but you save money since it is cheaper. I do not but meat, fish or poultry there. I but those in Costco or Vons in Coronado. I use Northgate more for fruit, vegetables and mexican products. I also LOvE the shrimp ceviche with serrano chili. A bit spicy for you? Then order it without chili. Other things I do buy at grocery outlet in Imperial Beach.
What to pack
Layers!
Coronado has all kinds of weather. You can wake up and see fogg, maybe even the gloor is wet since it had rain or the sea breeze. Then it get super hot!!! And you feel lime you are burning, then walk to the shadow and freeze because of the wind. At night it gets cold so bring layers and be prepared. And never forget sunscreen.
