Love our Zoo and go several times a week when I can. Great for walking and education and the gardens of the Zoo are even more amazing than the animals!
Go for the animals, enjoy the stroll and don’t miss the plants! More species in one place than anywhere in the world! It lives up to its status as a world class zoo!
Best zoo in the country. Really well thought out, maintained and curated. Unique plants from around the world, representative of the animals’ native foliage. Best info can be had on the bus or behind-the-scenes tours. Worth the extra money. Not a cheap outing, but well worth the money. Wear COMFY…
The San Diego Zoo is a zoo in Balboa Park, San Diego, California, housing over 3,700 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies
Everyone visits the zoo when they are in town. It's one of the best in the world.
World Famous for a reason. Great for families, getting to know new animals, and getting your daily walking steps. They have a fantastic double-decker bus tour too! Features: Animals from All Over the World: these animals include polar bears, pandas, koalas, apes, gorillas, penguins, elephants,…
The best zoo ever. Great walking trails and very well planned. The plants alone are worth seeing and the whole place is always changing. If you think you’ve seen it before, you really haven’t seen it. Every time I go there is something new to see that they have added.
This is one of the most authentically developed wild animal parks experienced. Walking through the lush 'heart of Africa'...the sights, the smells of the African indigenous flora, is very convincing!

“I highly recommend taking a tour. They have an audio tour and group tours. The ship is vast with a very interesting history. It can take about two to three hours to see the whole thing.”

“For many, Sea World is often considered San Diego’s biggest attraction for visitors looking for things to do in Mission Bay. It’s no wonder when they have so many great things. When you visit, you can see an animal show, ride on their rides, and of course enjoy the wonderful service at their restaurants.”

“If you like to get a good view of the entire park, the scoreboard and downtown San Diego - and be a bit higher up to see all the action on the field - I would recommend the Toyota Terrace (second level). I favor the first base line - somewhere between home plate and just past first base. Sometimes I buy cheaper tickets and move around the stadium, enjoying different seats and views. You can also purchase 'park at the park' tickets and lie on the grass, just beyond the outfield. the views are obstructed, but it's a very enjoyable, relaxing scene.”
