There is a lighthouse that you are able to go into. Beautiful beaches, walking trails, wildlife and views of Manhattan. Restroom and changing areas. Biking trails. $20.00 per car daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Approximately 1.5 miles to entrance.

Enjoy a beach day at Sandy Hook Park. For only $15 you get access to over 10 beach areas with both Atlantic Ocean and Bayside access. One of my personal favorite!
