On the outskirts of Nenagh town it provides a gateway to multiple historic/cultural attractions in addition to it's close proximity to Lough Derg.

Tom Rocky’s Farmyard

This old farmyard has undergone a beautiful restoration. The open space & scenery all around here is stunning, with the Devils Bit mountain as a backdrop. It is a really peaceful spot. There is a large, enclosed yard space and an open shed area with lights & seats, and a roofed kids play area. The old market town of Templemore is a 4 min drive, boasting a beautiful town park with woodland walks & a lake. We are just 12 mins drive from Exits 22 or 23 on the M7 Dublin-Limerick motorway.

We are located in a peaceful rural countryside setting 3 mins (by car) from Newport town, 12 mins from University of Limerick/Castletroy, 15 mins from Limerick City centre and 40 mins from Shannon Airport. Cosy Cottage in Nenagh

Moyroe cottage is based on the outskirts of Nenagh on our dairy farm. The town centre with its main shopping street, pubs, restaurants, visitors centre and the Nenagh castle as well as the bus stop is about 25 minutes of a walking distance - 5 minutes by car. The closest supermarket is Tesco with a 5 minute drive. Several access points to the M7 are close by. There are many interesting places to visit in the vicinity. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
