The Blue Yard
The Blue Yard is a tiny home on the beautiful drive-on island of Aughinish, 12 km outside the sea-side town of Kinvara, named one of the top ten beautiful villages in Ireland. Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.

(A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)

Galway City Centre Stay
n the heart of Galway City, this newly refurbished apartment is located adjacent to Galway's infamous Woodquay, where everything is at your front door. It is one street away from Galway's main shopping and nightlife street. This apartment was renovated in 2019 but as the original building is over 100 years old there were limitations in the level of sound proofing that could be carried out. As a result sound can travel from within the building and from main city centre street.
