“Kevin's place is excellent value and Kevin was an extremely helpful and kind host. The house is a bus ride away from the city centre in a quiet residential area - very peaceful. The room was simple, very clean and very good value. It was a great place for me to stay - far from the melee. You're very close a library, a lovely friendly cafe, a foodshop and the bus-stop.”

“We absolutely loved our relaxing stay in the Barn. It was just as shown - done to amazingly high spec with thoughtful touches like breakfast included (the tastiest eggs I’ve ever had!). Our spaniel also loved the use of the extra land to the rear. Felt nice and secluded however Helen was quick to answer any questions we had. Thank you for a lovely stay.”
This is a modern family home near the ring road in York with easy access to the city and to places such as Harrogate, Knaresborough and the North of York. I have been hosting for 2.5 years in the centre of York but have moved to a location near the countryside. We look forward to welcoming you soon
“I liked Sally’s place from the very first moment. Very spacious, warm and nicely maintained. The room is small, but very comfortable and bright. From its window facing east I watched and photographed several stunning dawns. The area is ideal for people who love walking in the nature, since river Ouse and Rawcliffe lake are both close. What’s more, it is very well connected with the city centre and equipped with stores, a cinema and a local pub at very short walking distance. Sally made me feel always welcome and took care that I had everything I needed. She is a sunny, generous, empathic and open-minded person, to mention just a few of her numerous qualities. I spent a memorable time with her and shared some outstanding episodes that I will keep in my heart forever. Arrivederci Sally :)”
