This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Plompeblad Suite Giethoorn

SUITE PLOMPEBLAD GIETHOORN Thatched farmhouse. Located in the most beautiful location on the village canal of Giethoorn. A private residence and private terrace on the water. Suite Plompeblad has a beautiful classic and rural interior, downstairs with a luxurious design bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs a spacious room with king-size box spring and on the split level a complete kitchen with induction hob and dishwasher. With rental of an electric boat right outside the door!

Het Monument Guesthouse

Gasthuis Het Monument is located on the first floor in the coach house of our National Monument. It is located in the center of Vestingstad Steenwijk, a stone's throw from the Markt. There is a small terrace with a seating area. Bicycles can also be stored here. In the immediate vicinity, there are shops and restaurants. In the area are Giethoorn and Unesco World Heritage De Koloniën van Weldadigheid. Breakfast is available, €17.50 p.p. Children up to 12 years stay free of charge, maximum 2.

Romantic, cozy guesthouse with jacuzzi and pool

'Ons Stulpje' is a complete, separate appartment with a comfortable kingsize boxspring bed, rain shower and complete kitchen. The jacuzzi can be booked separately (€30 per 2 h timeslot). The (shared) pool can be used in Summer. Chickens roam freely. It is situated in the quiet countryside town Blankenham, close to tourist attractions like Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Steenwijk and National Park Weerribben-Wieden and Pantropica, Urk, and UNESCO Schokland. Breakfast can be added for €15 p.p. per day.

From the modern interior, high glass walls offer a view of the surrounding nature and you can spot many holiday boats in summer, in addition to various birds. An adjacent sloop can be rented.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1x 2-person and 2x 1-person bed). There is another 5th bed (1 pers.) in the hall upstairs. We would like to know if you would like to use a sheet package (bedding & towels). Surcharge is €10.00 p.p. The renovated bathroom makes the cottage a luxurious place to enjoy the peace, space and nature.

Hiking trails are available from this farm, and you can dive into the woods. Giethoorn 12 km, Overijssel 10 meters and Drenthe 13 km. In short, the location is ideal for exploring the Netherlands! If you come for peace, you are in the right place! The house is full of comforts, and you have a large fenced garden at your disposal.

This cozy, comfortable and stylish family villa is located in the historic heart of the private family estate: "Heerlijkheid de Eese." This architecturally designed, sustainable house is made entirely of wood. Wonderful bedrooms, each with its own spacious bathroom and a garden door to the porch of the giant garden. A beautiful wooden house located on my parents' property. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

Apartment Ten Broeke

Rurally located, close to Giethoorn and National Park De Weerribben Wieden, you will find apartment "Huize ten Broeke." From the bright living room, you can look out over the fields of the Lage Egge and the skyline of Steenwijk. The apartment consists of a spacious living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. From the Lage Egge, you can easily reach a number of beautiful sights, and it is the perfect base for day trips.

Lodging Oosterhoek

You are welcome in the lodging of the country house "Oosterhoek" anno 1872. This is located in the middle of the countryside just past the village of Tuk. Adjacent to the forest area "de Woldberg" and estate "de Eese". Within cycling distance you will find the city of Steenwijk, National Park 'de Weerribben' and picturesque Giethoorn. And with ease, you can reach Thialf Heerenveen ice stadium within 20 minutes by car in winter.
