This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

In the area are Giethoorn and Unesco World Heritage De Koloniën van Weldadigheid. Breakfast is available, €17.50 p.p. Children up to 12 years stay free of charge, maximum 2.
