Gorgeous Condesa House with Beautiful Private Garden

This gorgeous, recently renovated 1920's home features its own private garden, a welcome green oasis in the bustling metropolis of Mexico City. Spend the morning exploring the neighborhood, then retire for a siesta or afternoon coffee on the terrace. This house is the residence of a travel writer and her partner, a renowned Spanish artist. Once owned by Mexico’s Secretary of Education, Jaime Torres Bodet (a founder of our world famous Anthropology Museum) it has been painstakingly restored by the current owners in keeping with the true essence of the property, while adding a personal touch with furniture, objects and art they have collected from all over the world. This is one of the few houses in Mexico with European central heating. ( a must to have during winter ) The house has two stories and a mezzanine. On the main floor is the living room with original chimney and wood floors, kitchen, and dining room that seats 8 people and looks onto a peaceful garden. This floor also contains a half bathroom. On the mezzanine level there’s a Japanese futon and an 1800’s piano—a perfect nook to read, relax, or make music. On the second floor you’ll find the master suite with its own bathroom, balcony and separate TV room that can be used as an extra bedroom with a very comfortable Full bed. When the TV room is used as a bedroom it has his own entrance. Two additional bedrooms on this level share another bathroom: one has a queen-sized bed, the other two twin beds that can be joined to form a king-sized bed. Linens are of the finest quality Egyptian cotton. The house is fully serviced. Our housekeeper Ceci will spoil you with fresh orange juice and a selection of fresh fruit, bread, and homemade jam. And, of course, there’s fresh ground Mexican coffee and an excellent selection of fine teas. (We also offer options for vegan travelers.) This is one of the few houses in central Mexico City with its own private garden, a welcome green oasis in this bustling megalopolis. You will feel like a local resident, as well as a pampered guest at a first class hotel. Welcome to your own Mexican dream! Guest have access to the whole house. You can use the public bikes that are in front the church (2 blocks), or in front the bookstore ( 2 blocks to the oposite side ) The taxi stand is 2 blocks from the house You can Uber If you have your own park I have a reserved place in the house. Really well connected! Ceci the house keeper is an amazing cook. She will cook hot breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request. She usually do all the cleaning in the morning, but she can stay longer if you need her. We like to give our guests delicious hot Mexican breakfast. We like them to taste real Mexican home cooking. We are open to vegan, vegetarian, or any specific diet. Luis the maintenance guy will go to the house only is there is a problem to be fixed.

Debido al Coronavirus, estamos tomando precauciones adicionales para desinfectar las superficies en especial las que se tocan con más frecuencia entre reservaciones. La llegada es fácil y autónoma. Un Departamento comodo y acogedor, totalmente nuevo. Con todo lo necesario para una estadia de vacaciones, trabajo, fin de semana o hasta un mes. Perfecto para 3 personas con 1 habitación y 1 baño. La Habitación cuenta con una cama queen size y en la sala con un comodo sofá cama. El departamento cuenta con un Roof Garden ideal para hacer una Barbacoa y disfrutar de la espectacular vista del Bosque y Castillo de Chapultepec así como Reforma. La decoración del departamento y los muebles son espectaculares y cuenta comodidades para unas vacaciones increíbles. Tiene una cocina completamente equipada con todo lo que puedas necesitar para cocinar aquí. el balcon es grande y refleja amplitud, ya que va de esquina a esquina en todo el departamento y cuenta con mesitas y sillas para disfrutar de una tarde. El departamento se encuentra en un primer piso. Las áreas comunes son maravillosas, el edificio cuenta con un Roof Garden, donde pueden hacer asados, barbacoas y contemplar el Bosque, Castillo de Chapultepec y la Av. Reforma en un atardecer. Podrás encontrar todos los electrodomésticos que necesites: estufa, microondas, cafetera, lavadora, secadora, TV, WIFI. El edificio es muy seguro, tienes un área restringida para entrar y cuenta con vigilancia las 24 horas. Hay una tienda de conveniencia y un supermercado a media cuadra del edificio. También puedes encontrar una frutería y una tienda orgánica a 3 cuadras. Les doy independencia a mis huéspedes, pero estoy disponible si me necesitan. Con mucho gusto estaré disponible para lo que los huéspedes me necesiten, sea recomendaciones en la ciudad, hasta ayudarles a armar algún tour por nuestro hermoso país y asi mismo cuentan con mi numero de celular para localizarme a cualquier hora. La Condesa es una zona muy agradable, tanto para caminar tranquilamente como para andar en bicicleta, en ella encontrarás y podrás apreciar sus espacios verdes, boutiques, cafés, restaurantes, bares y clubs nocturnos. Hay una tienda de conveniencia y un supermercado a media cuadra. Disfruta de esta zona rica en gastronomía y cultura Mexicana. El departamento tiene una excelente ubicacion ya que a cuadras se encuentra el paradero principal "Chapultepec" donde esta el metro y diferentes buses para ir a cualquier parte de la ciudad, tambien hay punto de "ecobicis" muy cerca por si prefieren recorrer la ciudad en bicis. This is a 57 square meter apartment with very high brick ceilings, a large living room and dining area with a lot of light. Find authentic chic mid century furniture and several art pieces. The apartment has a private bedroom with queen size bed, closet and bathroom and a separate kitchen with supplies. It also has two small inner patios for light and ventilation. A lot of original architecture details from 1940 like floors, brick walls, ceiling and windows frames were conserved in the restoration. The project was recently featured in Architectural Digest Mexico and won several important architecture prizes: Architecture Masterprize and NoldiSchreck. Guest may use the whole apartment. You can also hang out in the inner patio of the condo and first floor lobby. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer you can use next to the garage. Santa María La Ribera is a historic 19th-century neighborhood. Stroll in the Alameda Park opposite, then visit the nearby Museo de Geología. Beautiful flat equipped with everything you need for a great stay in Mexico City. It is located in the heart of the trendy Roma neighborhood, blocks away from the noisy night scene so you can rest peacefully. It´s on a second floor with street view and big windows that open up fully. It has a bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bathroom. Big closets with a safety box for your important documents and enough space for your clothes and suitcases. The living room has a double size sofa bed with bed linen on so you can fold it out and go to sleep. There´s also a second full bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook as if you were at home. For your morning coffee there´s an Italian coffee maker and delicious blend from Chiapas.
