Explore Chapultepec Forest on foot and by bike to get to know one of the biggest parks in the world and learn about the history and culture of this wonderful place. Our meeting point will be at Campos Eliseos St., where I will give you an urban bike (we do not use electric bikes) with helmet, lighting and reflecting vest that you will have at your service. You will get familiar with the bike on a safe initial tour of the central camel or sidewalk of Paseo de la Reforma, we will enter the Park and drive directly to Chapultepec Castle. We will walk up to the Castle showing you the interiors and admiring the murals and works of the National History Museum. We will continue to ride the tour to the Forest and the Zoo and from there we will leave for Los Pinos, to walk through the presidential house. We will be biking for lunch at Casa Tlalli where I will invite you a full meal and drink. We will roam both Floating Avenues to take in the scenery of this area of Mexico City, and tour the second section to visit the Environmental Culture Center. We will ride back at the meeting point.

During this experience, you will learn to cook the famous "tacos al pastor" with my dad, a professional instructor and culinary artist, who will share his tips and recipes with you. We'll meet at the local market to buy ingredients and learn more about Mexican spices and food. Then we'll return to my family home, where you will learn how to marinate the meat for the tacos. You will prepare red salsa, green salsa, and guacamole, and make your own tortillas on the traditional Mexican "Comal"—a smooth, flat griddle. At the end, we'll put everything together to make the tacos, sit and enjoy what you have prepared, and learn a little more about Mexican gastronomy. Other things to note We will send later, the recipes through email. You can take the class in English, Spanish, or French. We can also offer a chicken and a vegetarian version.

During the tour, we will tell you about the history of the place and its importance to the sustainability of Mexico City. In your way, you will recognize the biological richness like birds, snakes, frogs and plants. We will arrive at a chinampa where you can get your hands dirty experiencing the ancestral technique of cultivation and discovering why it is considered a world heritage. In the lake, you'll have the chance to see local fauna like ducks and herons. We'll enjoy a delicious lunch of quesadillas on the lake, with options including meat, vegan, or vegetarian. We'll also learn about agriculture and the construction of the floating islands known as "chinampas," which are still used for cultivation. Exploring a replica of the "Isla de las muñecas," we'll delve into ghost stories in Xochimilco. Plus, we have more activities like loteria games and candies!

During this experience, you will learn to cook the famous "tacos al pastor" with my dad, a professional instructor and culinary artist, who will share his tips and recipes with you. We'll meet at the local market to buy ingredients and learn more about Mexican spices and food. Then we'll return to my family home, where you will learn how to marinate the meat for the tacos. You will prepare red salsa, green salsa, and guacamole, and make your own tortillas on the traditional Mexican "Comal"—a smooth, flat griddle. At the end, we'll put everything together to make the tacos, sit and enjoy what you have prepared, and learn a little more about Mexican gastronomy. Other things to note We will send later, the recipes through email. You can take the class in English, Spanish, or French. We can also offer a chicken and a vegetarian version.

We will meet at the "Angel de Independencia" between early morning to escape the city chaos. Our group will have private comfortable transportation. We will stop for an early breakfast in Actopan, a city halfway to our destination. The day is divided into three parts. Pool Tranquility: Start your day relaxing a while in the “pocitos”; naturally warm thermal pools that provide astounding views that soothe & clear the body and mind –perfect for “the gram.” River Relaxation: Next, the turquoise-colored river is well-managed and is naturally warm due to the thermal springs, a complete relaxing experience. Lunch will be alongside the river (weather permitting). Cave Exploration: Finally, you will see awe-inspiring waterfalls and unexpected adventure that our guests have described as “life changing.” We will head out by 5:30PM arriving between 9-10:00PM, full of new experiences and photos to share with envious family/friends. Injuries, while rare, may occur during an outdoor exploration. This experience includes water, creating slippery walking surfaces near the pools and river. There is a bonus cave (optional) with low clearance –be aware of height to reduce risk of head injury. There is inherent risk with any outdoor activity. Enjoy a 4-course cooking class with selected traditional Mexican dishes that would allow you to discover Mexico’s great gastronomy. We will start the experience with a welcome refreshing “Agua Fresca” (Guava, mint and lemon), coffee from selected Mexican coffee beans or our special infusion, while you prepare for the experience and learn about the history of Mexican cuisine. Then we will provide detailed explanations of recipes and ingredients to be ready for a hands-on cooking experience. 1st course – Street food appetizers (sopes) paired with 2 Mexican salsas (red molcajete sauce and green sauce). 2nd course – Mextlapiques, tamal without masa, filled with vegetables and topped with a spearmint sauce. 3rd course – White mole and hand-made tortillas, made with a mixture of light-colored ingredients including white pine nuts, almonds, peanuts, sesame seeds, blonde raisins and chile guero. 4th course – Corn bread with hot chocolate water-based. Afterwards enjoy the prepared dishes with a pairing of "agua fresca", Mexican craft beer, artisanal mezcal or Mexican wine from Valle de Parras. *Class includes a market tour to Mercado Medellin (walking distance).
