The village, at the foot of the South Downs, is ideal for walking and cycling and has an award-winning pub and lovely cafés. For more excitement, Brighton. Ideal for walkers, the South Downs way is at the end of the private no-through road, or the County Town of Lewes is a 2 mile walk away (or a ten minute drive).
