Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. Pooh’s Hideout is a unique, small cabin nestled beside Owl’s House. Fully insulated & heated, it stays cozy in winter & cool in summer with AC. Inside, you'll find a handcrafted futon that converts into a full-size bed with storage. The shared full bathroom with a shower is just 50 yards away in the barn. Relax indoors or unwind in the shared open-air pavilion. Enjoy evenings by one of our firepits or cook on the gas grill. A peaceful place with rustic charm—perfect for nature lovers!

The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

When you think Northern WI cabin stay, this is exactly what they should be. Small 700 square foot cabin sitting on the Moen Lake Chain just a few miles east of Rhinelander. Easy access via blacktop road that takes you right to the place. It offers 56 ft of water frontage. A small public boat landing right in front, makes it easy to get on and off the water. A new dock to tie it up for the evening on those summer stays, and drive out (at own risk) on the ice for those winter months.
