We have lived here for 40 years and are still amazed with the beauty of the Northern Black Hills. The Rock and Block house

This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. It is NOT IN HILL CITY, it's by ROCHFORD WE DO NOT HAVE: CELL SERVICE ( landline is available for emergencies) WE DO NOT HAVE: WIFI (very limited availability). WE DO NOT HAVE: Noisy neighbors & traffic ! This property affords quiet and privacy. About the only thing you will hear after 8:00 PM is an occasional coyote call !

This is one of two cabins located on our working quarter ranch nestled in the splendor of the Southern Black Hills of South Dakota. We are 4 miles south of Hot Springs. Nearby is Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore, Ft. Robinson, The Mammoth Site and many other state, national and local parks, recreational areas, and historic sites. We also have boarding for horses for the traveling rider.
