In the yard, there is a barbecue, a smokehouse, and a compost toilet. You can drive directly into the yard. From the back door of this FAQ route and ski slopes, you can instantly enter the danger of a forest with blueberry, a half hike, or gather mushrooms. The home is unique. The fireplace that provides the ambiance and indoor air cools the air source heat pump. The car can be charged from the ABB-Terra charging station and the skis can be lubricated in the lubrication room.

Authentic cottage atmosphere in Kainuu

Lapland is full, come to Kainuu! On a sunny, wooded lot in Kajaani, an atmospheric cottage for 6 people with a lovely wood-burning lakeside sauna. The sun shines on the shore of the cottage well into the evening. The lakeside sauna is located right on the water and the cottage itself is a little higher on the property. Inside, the cabin's running water, an indoor toilet, and a shower to bring a little luxury to the stay. The cottage is equipped with a covered large deck with views through the woods to the back of the lake.

Jokela School Summer House

Traditional Finnish summer cottage with a sauna building, a separate sleeping cabin, an outdoor toilet and a barbecue canopy. The place is located along the Matkusjoki river. Higher up in the yard is the old Jokela school (rv. 1928), which we renovated. If you enjoy authentic summer cottages with minimal additional comforts, then this may be your summer destination. Villa Kataja holiday cottage in Paljaka

Completed in 2014, our cottage is located in Paljakka, close to ski trails and mountain biking trails. The cottage's facilities are located on two floors. A deck with a glass railing throughout the cabin's width allows you to sense the peace of nature, both in winter and in summer. The yard has a wood storage, a fire pit, and a lot. A lot to use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are prohibited. Distances: Tourist center in Ukkoha 26 km. Shop: Poland city center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.

Barn by the lake

It's easy to relax in this unique and peaceful barn. The barn at your disposal is right by the beach. There are two beds in the barn and there is an outhouse behind the fence. You can bathe in an atmospheric wood-burning sauna and take a dip in clean Nuasjärvi. The sauna comes with drinkable water. With the fire of the barbecue house, you can cook while enjoying the tranquility of the beach. There's electricity in the barn, so you can still get a mini-fridge, light, and heat as the fall progresses.

Hiisi Lodge

Less than an hour's drive from Tahko (62km, ice road ~30km)! Come and ski or go spring skiing, for example in Tiilikka National Park, or just spend some time outdoors in pure nature. A lovely 1950s house with a sauna is available for rent, which can accommodate 1-6 people. Two double beds, in addition to which two separate extra beds can be added if necessary. Also an electric sauna and an outdoor sauna are available. Also experience Rautavaara's wonderful nature destinations and events.

Log Cabin Villa Side

Villa Side is a dream cottage in the midst of nature on the shore of Lake Nuasjärvi – with its own cape, lakeside sauna, pier, and silence for a perfect break from everyday life. An atmospheric log cabin, a separate barn, and a sauna by the water provide accommodations for up to seven people. The renter brings their own sheets, towels, and drinking water, and takes care of the final cleaning. The cottage has electricity, the water is taken from the lake. A tidy outdoor shower is in use.

Comfy small log cottage, suited for 3 persons. Distance to Vuokatti Ski Resort 18km. Sheets or towels not included. Cabin size 27 square metres. Located near where the owner lives; there are plenty of trees to give you privacy. One 160cm sized mezzanine bed (requires climbing stairs) and a sofa on the floor level for sleeping. Sauna (electric, not wood-heated). Kitchen includes microwave oven, electric oven, coffee machine, electric kettle, refrigerator, tableware etc.
