Oldest house in Quentel From "Schniede Hans Hus", as our house was called around 1521, today a cozy 114 m² vacation home with three bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a guest toilet, a bathroom with shower and bathtub for our guests has been created. Free Wi-Fi and parking right in front of the house are just as much a part of our offer as a terrace with a BBQ and garden. Hessisch Lichtenau with its shopping facilities is also only 5 minutes by car from Quentel.

Kassel can also be reached by public transport via the train station in Guxhagen, which is 3 km away. The Mondsee, a swimming lake, is 2.5 km away.

Pretty 67 m² half-timbered house on a romantic farm in the old town center of Dörnhagen. This place is perfect for a couple with or without kids. Beautifully located apartment right on the water. Our lovingly furnished apartment is located on the ground floor of a half-timbered house in Guxhagen, which was renovated in 2017. The house has a plot on the Fulda with a jetty, which is located opposite the house, on the other side of the R1 cycle path. Before the construction of the Fulda bridge, our house was the old ferry house of Guxhagen. Boats and bikes are available to our guests.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
