The Back 80 Cabin

Beautiful, newly remodeled, cozy house in the woods. Located about 15 minutes from Munising and 10 minutes from Au Train. Very quiet location in the woods with trails to walk and a small creek running through the property Sleeps 8 people. The area offers lots of outdoor activities, including Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Alger County has 13 waterfalls and lots of hiking, boating, and fishing. Snowmobile/ATV trails are accessible from the cabin, 2 miles north on a dirt road. No pets!!

The apartment is above our barn, one flight of stairs. We have frontage on Big Creek which connects to gorgeous Lake Superior. We have kayaked and fished from our spot to the big lake. Welcome to our little slice of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! It is a spring, summer wonderland! We have access to the country store with fresh meats as well as to restaurants and gas and supplies. Also 12 minutes from Munising and Pictured Rocks, hiking trails, and close to the Ice caves in Ebin. Farm stay at Tonella Farms (between MQT/Munising)

Tonella Farms offers a very private setting and guest suite at a newly established farm. Located 20 miles from Marquette and 30 miles from Munising and Pictured Rocks. Surrounded by forest that is open to recreational activities right out the door (hiking, biking, bird watching, x-country skiing). Only minutes away from Laughing Whitefish Falls and Eben Ice Caves. Snowmobile trail #8 is an easy 1.5 miles south along Dukes Rd, 6 miles on trail to gas in Rumely, plenty of space for trailers.

Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.
