A traditional Victorian semi with original features; doors and the odd creaky stair. Fantastic location one street from the high street in Shanklin, five minutes to the beach lift and the old town of Shanklin and the Chine. Unique English Heritage Escape in *Bembridge* IOW

'The Annexe' forms part of the main residence built on the old parade ground of Steyne Wood Battery. The Battery was built on the eastern coastline of the Isle of Wight and became a scheduled monument in 2015, being one of the best surviving Victorian Batteries and, as such, all the bomb proof shelters, ammunition stores, gun positions and defensive structures in the surrounding grounds remain intact. Being South facing with stunning sea views the new deck is a great sun trap (you'll need your sunglasses when the sun's out!) perfect for relaxing on the sofa's or enjoying dinner al fresco. Located just a 5 minute walk down steps to the sea front or a more sedate 15 minutes to the esplanade, its an ideal location to enjoy all that Ventnor has to offer.
