We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Waldaue

On the edge of an idyllic courtyard in the Westerwald lies our location Waldbach – with a wide view over meadows and forests as far as the eye can see. In the background, the gentle sound of a small stream accompanies you - your soundtrack to slow down. Hiking trails through forest and field start directly from the cabin. The surroundings can also be explored wonderfully by bike. In the evening you sit on the terrace or by the fire – with a wide view of nature and the feeling of being completely at one with yourself.

The house was built in 1964 by our grandparents and was substantially renovated in 2023. Hello , My name is Gräweheinersch and I am a vacation rental. I am at home in the land of the angry giants, in the Hickengrund in the wooded Siegerland, the region between Rubens and Landluft. More precisely in Burbach-Holzhausen. I am about 80 m² and have a large living/sleeping room, a modern kitchen, a spacious shower room and a large balcony. Numerous excursion destinations in the area complete a perfect stay in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany.

Surrounded by trusting sheep, our circus wagon stands under a roof of maple trees. An exceptional place to stay with panoramic views for 1–2 adults. Sheep cuddling included! If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you are in the right place in Windecker Ländchen. The circus trailer is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to the Koelnmesse).
