You are in the Sauerland, a region where hiking or cycling is a must. Even the Sauerland pool is in the village. Otherwise, just peace and beautiful landscapes with many refreshment stops. You can swim and sauna in the village or go to Hennesee, about 25 minutes by car. We are very quiet, almost at the edge of the forest and in the center, about 10 minutes on foot. If you want to go shopping, go to the next village of Schmallenberg. We only have discounters!Restaurants are in the village.

The apartment (about 42 square meters) has a balcony that offers magnificent views over the mountains. It is quietly located in the hilltop village of Schanze (720 m above sea level) on the Rothaarsteig in the middle of a wooded hiking area. The location is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet who want to relax in beautiful nature, as well as for hikers and mountain bikers. In winter, skiing (lifts in Schmallenberg and Winterberg), cross-country skiing and tobogganing are possible.

Our cozy furnished apartment with views of the beautiful Edertal is located directly on the Ederauen bike path. Our farm is located on the edge of the small village of Berghausen in the Wittgensteiner Land. The nearby Rothaarsteig offers great hiking opportunities. In Winterberg, 20 km away, you will find sports and leisure activities in summer and winter. The apartment has a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. A travel crib is available for toddlers.

Our ecological log cabin, built in 2022, is located on the edge of an oak grove on a 550 m high plateau called Oesterberge, in the middle of the Sauerland Nature Park. It is a very nice two-room apartment with private shower room and fully equipped kitchen. A box spring bed is in the living/sleeping area with a large TV. Private small terrace, ground-level access in a quiet residential area, but centrally located. There is a connection to bike paths in the immediate vicinity. It is only a 5-minute walk to the bus and train. Close to Biggesee, Sorpe and Möhnesee. Ideal as a starting point for many activities!
