Dronrijp is a stone's throw away from Leeuwarden, Franeker and Harlingen, where you can make the crossing to the islands of Terschelling or Vlieland. Four-legged friends are welcome! There are fences around the garden. We live 12 meters from the stay. We have 2 sweet sheep, Cotton and Binkie, and 9 walking ducks. Please do not feed the bug (The swimming pool will be ready around mid-May)

Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is one of our 2 properties. The other is the peaceful East Punsmiert chalet. Both are a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees, ducks and many species of birds. The orchards contain different varieties of fruit trees. Our prices include all Airbnb fees and local tourist tax.

Je kunt vissen, zwemmen, suppen, zeilen, of gewoon even helemaal niks. Tussen de groene vlaktes van het Friesche Menaldum vindt u de uniek gebouwde Tiny Farm House met veranda inclusief hot tub. Deze grenst aan een traditionele kop hals romp boerderij uit 1880. Sinds 1980 runt boer Folkert de melkveehouderij waar 110 koeien gemelkt worden. Kom tot rust in de hot tub of neem een duik in de zwemvijver nabij. Ga met de veerboot een dag naar Terschelling of Vlieland. Breng een bezoek aan de hoofdstad Leeuwarden of stap op de fiets en verken de omgeving.

On the Hidaard mound, you stay in the stylish front house of our old farmhouse, with its own entrance and facilities. Our house features a spacious kitchen and 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. If you book for 2 people, you will get the lower floor, i.e. the kitchen and 1 bedroom. If you want to use 2 bedrooms, you must book for at least 3 people. Wake up to the sound of birds singing, panoramic views, and the cozy warmth of the wood-burning stove.
