Just 8 kilometers from Lake Chiemsee and Lake Simssee. Centrally located between Munich and Salzburg and away from the hustle and bustle and in every season.

Halsbach is the smallest municipality in the district of Altötting with about 950 inhabitants. The small village is located in the idyllic foothills of the Alps and impresses on "föhnigen" days with a good distant view with a magnificent view of the Bavarian mountains. The nearby Marian pilgrimage site Altötting with its churches and Christian sights, the longest castle in Europe in Burghausen and the proximity to Lake Chiemsee make the region the ideal starting point for a holiday in Bavaria.

Relax in our newly renovated apartment in a quite countryside location well within striking distance of central Salzburg. Our Guesthouse is located approximately 2.5km from the warmest lake in Upper Bavaria, Waginger See/Tachinger See. This is accessible by foot, car and also by using one of the many well signposted cycle routes located directly outside the apartment. In the winter months there is plenty of cross country skiing routes in the local area and great ski resorts within 50km.

Located on the Haunsberg in Obertrum, right on the main road, this modern accommodation offers great opportunities for young and old. Hiking and cycling opportunities can be found right in front of the house, and it takes 20-35 minutes to get to the center of Salzburg by bus or car, depending on traffic conditions. The loft has a bathroom, a kitchen with an induction hob, electric stove, and refrigerator. The sauna can be rented exclusively for a fee. We do not offer a transfer service.

My place is in the Seelentium region (Ibmer Moor and lake). Salzburg (37 km), Burghausen (19 km) and Braunau (25 km) are nearby. My place is good for solo travelers.
