The City and the Sea at your doorstep, Wonderful

Our beautiful Guest house is situated in the leafy area of Port Melbourne, known as 'Garden City' which describes the area perfectly. We are within a 5 min walk to the beach, a 15 min bus ride to the CBD. Our guest house is 70sqm with an exterior 10sqm deck. It's great for travelling business people, a romantic getaway, or pure relaxation whilst being surrounded by all that the city of Melbourne has to offer. Local bars, cafes, restaurants, markets, beach & sports facilities, at your doorstep.

Delightful studio in Newport

Lakes Studio is a sweet little space situated on the border of Newport and South Kingsville in inner West Melbourne. Newport is approx. 15 mins from the CBD via car or train. We are less than 5 mins walk from a couple of cafes, restaurants, a small grocer and laundromat and a short 5 min bus ride from a shopping centre for anything larger you may need. On the doorstep is Newport Lakes precinct, comprising of self guided walks, birdlife, dog walking and great picnic spots.

The studio is close to the trains (8 min/650 m) and buses, cafes, restaurants, parks and river trails. Only 3 stations (9 min) on the metro to and from the CBD (Flinders Street Station & Melbourne Central). Free parking on a quiet street. The studio is thoroughly cleaned & sanitised between guests.

Close to the Maribrynong river, 13 mins walk to Footscray station and 11 mins on the train to the city. Footscray is a thriving suburb of multiculturalism. Just added a smart tv with Free Netflix. Bathed in light from a skylight rather than a window. The studio is upstairs ( 2nd floor) with no lift. I live next door.
