  • Sometimes it's just perfect to have it be just the way you'd imagined. What a lovely creation this is! We had a quick one day vacay for a birthday getaway and we loved it! Tophats off to Tipsy! (Sorry we didn't have time to sign the guest book. We are locals so maybe next time!)

  • This was our first experience in a tiny house and it was perfect. The attention to detail was impressive.

    Lynnette2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • The place is groovy and fun. The repurposing of salvaged lumber is attractive and solid. The light is perfect and the bathroom is surprisingly roomy. I recommend it as a nice place to stay if you're in West Seattle.

  • We had a great time staying at their tiny house. I'd stay there in the future!

  • Amazing!! Perfect getaway for two friends and I. This tiny house was super cozy and had a great layout to utilize the space while including everything you need (fireplace, kitchen, bathroom). There was plenty of space for the three of us and we could not get over how charming the house was.

Find your own private, comfortable corner of Seattle to rest your head while you explore the city. Our block features a frequent bus line (every 10-15 minutes) that will whisk you to the heart of downtown Seattle, and we are a 20 minute walk to The Junction in West Seattle. The building is a cozy converted garage, fully-finished and hand-built with a carpenter's touch. The unit is completely private and fenced off from our home, and we have furnished it so that you can have a hassle-free stay.
Our converted, fully-remodeled "garage" is the perfect size for long and short stays. The garage was personally built by a contractor with his own unique flair, and is a no-nonsense, functional living space. An ample living space area has a TV and sectional couch. The kitchen is equipped to cook your own meals (there is a range, but no oven) and has a long table. The bathroom includes a stand-up shower and all the basics.
We live in a quiet, peaceful West Seattle neighborhood which feels like an escape from the busy life of the city -- but the city is still only a few miles away! For us, it's the best of both worlds.
  • Amazing place that can’t be passed up. Great over all space in a convenient location short from the city. Beautiful B&B in a quaint neighborhood in West Seattle. • Absolutely perfect Airbnb. It’s such a cute little place, very peaceful and the hosts were great!

    Nancy2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of my favorite Airbnb’s that I have stayed at. The place is super cute and has lots of little touches. Although, not super close to the downtown, it is only a bus ride away which I loved. I would totally recommend this place if you’re looking for something homey. Chris and Joe were amazing hosts who were able to give local recommendations and were easy to communicate with.

    Iris2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Chris's place was a wonderful place to stay. It's located near enough to downtown without being right in the hustle and bustle. It was clean and cozy with anything I could have needed. Chris and Joe were responsive and helpful during my stay and I would highly recommend their place to anyone staying in Seattle.

    Kate2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • This space is awesome. The steps are a little steep but it adds to the charm. The space feels much larger than in looks in the photos. Owners are super responsive and added a few treats for guests

  • The best Airbnb

    Jen2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing time during our stay in Seattle - the Airbnb was just the cherry on top. The space was clean and more spacious than we initially thought. The little notes were so sentimental about the local places the hosts preferred for food and drink. We loved every minute of it. Check in/out was so easy - the space was easy to find and the neighborhood was so cute! We will definitely think of this place next time we come back. Thanks for everything!

  • This airbnb was perfect for a winter getaway! My partner and I had a wonderful time with our little Pomeranian. Every detail in the decor was well thought out and very unique. Thank you, Brittany, for an amazing stay!

  • Great place to get away from the city. Amazing views and a unique overnight experience.

    Josh2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • My stay in the Tiny House was great! Although I was gone the majority of my there, I did enjoy coming “home” to such a cozy space. The bed was comfortable, and offers a great look at the stars. There were lots of things the host incorporated to make it feel like home. Most mornings I saw a deer or bunny! I did not have an opportunity it to use the fire pit, but it did offer a spectacular view! Brittany ensures that you stay there is a great, and her communications is excellent! Although the space it tight, and offers a lot more than meets the eye!

    Melanie2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • It was so wonderful to stay at Brittany's tiny house! The perfect getaway from busy day to day life.

    Nick2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding experience. I'm calling this the gold star of air bnb's and wish they were all as nicely detailed and appointed as this tiny house. I needed a weekend of solitude and this fit the bill perfectly. A small space to hole up in was just the recharge I needed. I HIGHLY recommend staying here!!

  • It was a lovely view and a nice quiet place to stay.

    Laura2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This spot was perfect for our 2-night stay. Marian was quick to reply when I needed assistance and always very kind. The cozy get-away is on the bottom floor of their beautiful, modern home situated on the hillside overlooking Alki Beach. Though parking is off-street and appears rather dicey, I did not have any problem finding a spot to park a very short distance from the (separate) entrance of the rental. The rental is a relatively close walk to restaurants but far enough off the main drag as to be peaceful and relaxing. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend walking to restaurants for people with mobility issues but this 50-something had no problem. Once inside the cozy nook, the bed is plush and soft. The clean white lines of the room and simple artwork make for a comfortable, relaxing evening in after dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves overlooking Elliot Bay with the ferries skirting by in the night. The added bonus was being a short drive to Seattle Center (20mins? on a Saturday morning).

    Karl2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Marian’s studio was perfect for a quick trip to Seattle! Great location, beautiful views and a cozy space.

  • This was our first visit to Seattle and Marian’s place made our trip even more outstanding! The location is perfect and we had so much fun exploring the Alki neighborhood. Marian also left great suggestions on places to check out in the neighborhood and was super helpful if we needed anything. I would highly recommend and would love to return in the future!

Looking for some seclusion? Awake to nature in this cozy treehouse for two! Enjoy verdant views from the loft in the double-sized bed. Newly constructed private half bath below the treehouse & shower house near the parking area. Private fire pit with propane grill, access to grocery stores & take out restaurants within 3 miles. Located centrally between Mt Rainier & the Olympic Mountains. (There is a 220 lb weight restriction on the ladder and ceiling height approx 5’9” upstairs in loft.)
This unique treehouse is a great getaway for nature lovers or those looking to do social distancing in style. There are many walkways through Douglas firs, cedars, hemlocks and rhododendrons as well as back wood paths that meander though grand firs and old growth of a few hundred years. In the spring, a ceremony of frogs lull you to sleep, summer months bring cool nights out on the wrap around deck. Autumn leaves from maples measure as wide as 18" and winter brings sometimes a rare snowfall that is magical. This is an experience, not a hotel. On windy nights, you will feel the treehouse sway. Everyday amenities are a little different--even the walk to the treehouse itself is a little journey. The treehouse half bathroom was built around the base of a large cedar and is just at the foot of the treehouse with a composting toilet and sink with hot water. Our new beautiful outdoor cedar shower house has skylights to showcase the trees above it and is available when temperatures are above freezing. Your stay includes a private fire pit with pre-cut wood, tv with assorted DVD movies, and an electric fireplace to keep you toasty warm. Near the private fire pit is a propane grill with an additional private seating area. On the deck is a large cooler to keep your food and beverages fresh. There is no microwave or stove. Plates, wine glasses with bottle opener, silver ware, coffee mugs with coffee and condiments, instant oatmeal as well as tea and hot chocolate are provided. Other things to note: The treehouse is approximately 190 sq ft. This treehouse is NOT suitable for large or tall persons, or persons with mobility challenges. The bed is a full size, and the ladder leading to the bedroom loft has a max weight limit of 220 lbs. The loft height is approx 5’9” at its highest. We are a strict non-smoking site, that includes the outdoors and woods. If the treehouse smells of smoke —even by association of smoking in your vehicle, it will still permeate in the fibers of the treehouse. There is an extra $400 cleaning fee for smoke scent removal of the treehouse. (Very difficult when dealing with natural fibers and tree bark.) Composting toilet: ALL MUST SIT! Sit until you feel the seat compress. You will hear/feel a little click. This is the back sliding door of the bowl opening to allow solid waste and paper to enter. If you do not follow these instructions and cause liquid to enter the back compost compartment, or damage the blue sliding door by not allowing it to be open during use, which then damages the door by having waste collect on it, you may be charged the following: $75 extra cleaning fee, $200 for sliding door bowl replacement and labor. Lastly, bed linen staining. If the sheets are stained, you may be charged any or all of the following: $100 for sheet replacement, $100 for pad replacement, and $200 for comforter replacement. We do host small weddings on occasion, so please inquire for details to set up a preview appt.
A mixed area of tribal-owned land, and private home/land owners. Close access to I-5, Hawks Prairie shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants are three miles away, one exit south off exit 111.

Welcome to our cozy home in Tacoma. located in the North End minutes away from University of Puget Sound, 6th Ave, Stadium district, and Downtown Tacoma. The space has a private entrance, flexible check-in times, internet and all utilities included. Located in a safe and very friendly neighborhood.
This house was built in 1892 and is part of the North Slope Historic District of Tacoma. The apartment is located on the lower level of the house and has been completely renovated. There is a private entrance with easy access for your convenience located on the side of the house. The space includes a large bedroom, full bathroom with jetted bathtub and heated floors, living room with Apple TV, and a bar area/kitchenette. The kitchenette includes all the required amenities including a sink, toaster, coffee pot, electric stove and cooking utensils. The apartment also has a mini-fridge and microwave. My wife Kelsey and I live upstairs with our dog Beau. We keep to ourselves but will always be available if you need something and would be happy to give you some advice for things to do in the area.
Very quiet family friendly neighborhood. Close to local bars and restaurants.
  • This was a super convenient location to UPS and they made it so easy to get to and check in. The place was spotless, bright and welcoming. Will definitely look for availability again in the future!

Bright and comfortable apartment located on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, yet a 5 minute drive to the Tacoma Dome and downtown Tacoma. Very close access to I-5.
  • Great place to stay at in Tacoma. Very quiet and calm neighborhood. The location is close to the interstate so that's a plus. Its also close to the mall and other popular stores. The inside of the place is excellent and provides the necessities for staying

  • Loved this little place, had everything we needed for a quick overnight, microwave, mini fridge, nice bed, nice tub, reading lights, Wifi, table & chairs, plenty of clean linens, & privacy including private parking spot. Was actually a little more spacious than the photos make it look. Never met our hosts, which was fine because we were busy, but, as women traveling alone, it was nice to know they were nearby. Surprisingly mellow little neighborhood and so close to Tacoma Dome, Downtown, & I-5. Sweet!

Lovely single bedroom apartment, located on the second floor of a beautiful North Tacoma, Dutch Colonial home! Master suite with king size bed & French doors to deck with gorgeous view of Mt. Rainier. Spacious living & dining area with coffee bar, table & benches, 48" TV, chaise which folds into extra single bed, & more! Kitchenette includes microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, fridge, & all the essentials! Enjoy common game/DVD closet as well as spacious backyard with propane fire pit!
    - This is a private apartment space within a large home. You will enter the home from the front door to a main, shared hall with stairs that lead to the individual units. The Rainier is one of two apartments on the second floor. We have another Airbnb listing for the third floor unit, called The Nest. - If you forgot or need anything, check out the common hall closet at the top of the second landing; there you will find games, DVDs, hair dryer, extra toiletries, first aid kit, iron & more! Help yourself! - Please note that the “kitchen” is not a full/ conventional kitchen, but rather a kitchenette. Large toaster oven (capable of baking, cooking and toasting), hot plate with cooking pots and pans, microwave, coffee and all the essentials are included in our kitchenette. While we do not foresee this being an issue for any guests, we like to be upfront. - The owner’s medium size, well trained dog lives in the house (main floor unit). Dog is not allowed in common spaces or in private suites. - Other pets have not been within property under current ownership. - We use the NEST Thermostat, and it is auto-controlled according to the temperature in your unit. A laundromat is just four blocks away - 6th Ave Speed-Wash - 1318 6th Ave - Open 8am-10pm. It is very clean and usually empty!
  • What a quaint and character-filled space! I kept being pleasantly surprised with little details and thoughtful touches at every turn. If the weather is warm, enjoy a peaceful morning or evening outside the French doors on the patio. Seriously so awesome. I would absolutely stay again!

    Libby2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I could spend a week or two here easy. Isaac's place has all of the amenities of home. The view of Mount Rainier from the french doors off the bedroom and onto the balcony is stunning. His place is few minutes from The University of Puget Sound and 6th Ave. The house stayed quiet throughout the night. I want to come back just to enjoy the balcony on a sunny day. Cheers!

    Tiffany2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and nice walking neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed.

    Nancy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was beautifully decorated, with a lot of natural light. We loved all the amenities that were provided and the little kitchenette with everything we could need. The location was awesome, within walking distance of a bunch of great restaurants, bars, and shops. The neighborhood was peaceful and walkable. I highly recommend staying here, it was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought and effort into making our stay as comfortable as possible.

    Divyaa2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The thing I liked best about this place was Isaac’s view on privacy. As he says, “unless you want to, you probably won’t see us”. Isaac provides coffee which was crucial to me. On the fourth day Mt Rainier unveiled itself and it was beautiful. Great old neighborhood too.

    Lynne2020-02-11T00:00:00Z

  • Susan’s place is like heaven! She is amazing! Her place is amazing! I will be back for sure.

    Christine2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Susan’s place is such a unique and rare find. This was by far the best Airbnb experience we’ve had because of both the quality of the host experience and also because of the beautiful unit itself. Susan is an incredibly communicative host and put so much thought into their cottage. This place has everything you need and beyond to feel at home! This will definitely be our go-to place to stay in Tacoma in the future. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and experience!

    Amy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

  • I’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnb’s but Susan’s place was special. She is the best host E.V.E.R, -thoughtful, friendly and the level of detail and attention to communication and the personal comfort of her guest is better than any 5-star hotel I’ve stayed in. Her place is beautiful and homey, the perfect sumptuous oasis in Tacoma.

    Amanda2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Location is in a quiet neighborhood, but close to a main street. Spacious suite, very comfortable bed, off street parking, great communication and superb hospitality. This was easily the best stay I’ve had in five years. I will be staying here again.

    Brenda Grant &2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Susan has clearly put a lot of love and care into every detail of her very beautiful and extremely comfortable home. She has thoughtfully provided everything that guests could possibly need or want and plenty of extras to make anyone’s stay extra special. The listing is even more spacious and full of tasteful touches than the pictures can show. The bed and couches are so comfortable, outfitted with plenty of extra blankets & pillows of varying firmness which was really nice. Susan provided fresh fruit & pastries, oatmeal, granola, yogurt, eggs and juice. This was the loveliest airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Susan’s personal welcome and helpful communication throughout my stay made me feel so well cared for. Everything about this listing is positively beyond any expectations I could have had. As a superhost myself, I give Susan and her wonderful listing my highest recommendation.

Cozy, third floor apartment within beautiful North Tacoma, Dutch Colonial home! Mt. Rainier view from kitchen/dining room & bedroom! Full kitchen with all the essentials included! This unit has 6.5-7ft ceilings and a narrow, short shower. If you are over 6ft tall, be aware that this apartment may not be as comfortable for you (specifically the shower). Enjoy spacious backyard with apple trees & garden space! Apartment is completely private; no shared common spaces beyond the main hall/stairway.
    - Check-in is no earlier than 3pm; check-out is no later than 11am. -This is a private apartment space within a large home. You will enter the home from the front door to a main, shared hall with stairs that lead to the individual units. The entrance to The Nest is located on the second floor, and there is an additional staircase once you enter the private space. We have another Airbnb listing for one of the second floor units, called The Rainier. - Mattress in bedroom is full size. Comfortable sofa bed in living room is likewise full size. Four people could share this unit if beds are shared. Four would be the maximum capacity of this space. - Gigabit speed internet! Very fast! We have never had a complaint about speed or signal. So you can definitely count on great internet! - If you forgot or need anything, check out the common hall closet at the top of the second landing; there you will find games, DVDs, hair dryer, extra toiletries, first aid kit, iron & more! Help yourself! - Small shower & doorways! The roof is pitched in many of the rooms, as can been seen in the photos. We simply want to be as candid as possible on this, so as not to disappoint potential guests. Again, if you are over 6ft tall, this may not be the best Airbnb option for you. - The owner’s medium sized, friendly dog, Ginger lives in the house (main floor unit) with the owners. Dog has never been allowed in common spaces or in private suites, so allergies are not a concern. No other pets are allowed, or have ever been allowed within the unit. We will often play in the large, shared backyard with Ginger; she is friendly and well behaved, so do not hesitate to join us if we are outside. - We use the NEST Thermostat, and it is auto-controlled according to the temperature in your unit. With that said, if you are too hot or too cold, don’t hesitate to let us know and we can adjust accordingly. - No smoking or vaping of any kind on property! Thank you.

We loved taking in the mountain views while we cooked breakfast in the morning, and relaxing in the cozy sitting room in the evenings. Our hosts were very good about answering our questions promptly over text and communicating all the important info for checking in. I highly recommend the nest suite!

  • Very comfortable bed, cozy space, nice neighborhood. I enjoyed being on the top floor — there are two flights of steps, one quite narrow. Shower is truly tiny.

    Kathryn & Andrew2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and cute! It's better if you're shorter because the ceilings are lower in some places but it was comfortable other than that.

The “Green” room is clean, cozy and inviting, with a queen size bed. For each guest we provide clean linens, towels, bathroom essentials, fresh water and cookies. There is also a 40" TV in the room with Amazon Firestick access, but no cable. There is no kitchen access for the guests but there is a breakfast nook in the living room Note: Two adorable cats live my home. Even though they are not allowed in the guest rooms, if you are seriously allergic to cats, my home is probably not for you.
Often called a hidden gem, our 1934 English Tudor style home has many admirable original features. Our guests compliment its beauty comfort and sparkling cleanliness. The bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. Located in southeast Tacoma, our home is situated on a half acre lot with many beautiful old trees, rhododendrons, Japanese maples and other lovely plants and shrubs in a private, fully fenced in setting. Close to several authentic Mexican diners and markets, it has an easy access to public transportation and freeways.
With many tall trees and nice old homes on our old established street, the neighborhood feels secluded, but has easy access to downtown Tacoma, Point Defiance Park, the waterfront, Mt. Rainier and the freeways that take you south to Olympia and north to Seattle. Olympia, with the beautiful State Capitol grounds and Seattle are both an easy 35 minute drive on I-5. Driving to the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic peninsulas is also an easy day drive there and back.
  • Peaceful and calm, quiet place. Host is quick to respond, pleasant to communicate with. Easy location for getting to the city and freeway. Beautiful vintage home. I recommend!

    Eric2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A quaint, lovely historic home. Comfortable, welcoming environment. Peaceful. Noel greeted me and was most hospitable. Quality bed. Independent heating in the room that I could control. Coffee, juice, yogurt and toast in the morning. Everything was great for me. I’ve already reserved a return stay. I made a furry friend or two (beautiful indoor, some outdoor cats).

    Judith2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Noel's rooms are an incredible value in a cool older house in a great central Tacoma location with easy access to freeways and a straight shot to downtown. We were there to tour both PLU to the south and UPS to the north, and it was an easy drive to each. Noel mentioned that the local bus at his corner goes straight to the airport--we didn't use it but ask him about that if it interests you. His home is spacious with cool early to mid century details (I loved the bathroom and staircase) with a huge lush yard that I wished we could see in spring! The two rooms there (blue and green) are big enough for couples, with large tvs and bedside lamps for reading. Comfy bed in the green room where we stayed. Common area was spacious with a remote controlled gas fireplace, shared fridge, dining room table, and sofa. Noel provides coffee, tea, toast, yogurt, and juice for his guests. And, yes, the cats are adorable, especially the one that sqeaks. Noel and his wife are quiet, talented intellectuals and their home was great to escape back to after busy days.

    Michele2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • It was incredible stay at Noel’s house . The tv was perfect and also the bed was comfortable and the room plus the food and coffee they have in the mornings really help and nice of them and the cats are super cool , the house is really authentic it was wonderful staying.

    Shon2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay, the bedroom is comfortable and charming, and there is plenty of space for parking outside. We had no problems using the shared bathroom although there were guests in the other room. Noel is a communicative and experienced host and we really appreciated the flexible check-in time. If we come back to Tacoma, we'll definitely be staying here again!

    Catherine2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Noel's is a must if you're in the Tacoma area. His hospitality is second to none and the beautiful, historic house and room are incredibly clean and comfortable and full of nice little touches. I had a wonderful stay in a wonderful house with a wonderful host. A trifecta!

This apartment is located in the Courtney building in the heart of the Hilltop neighborhood. It is above a friendly Pub , a great Pho restaurant and a good natured Pawn shop. There are restaurants and Bars within walking distance . You are within 1 mile of both major hospitals, Tacoma General and Saint Joseph. . A cab ride away from the Tacoma dome and the art museums. Late check in available. The apt is a studio with a queen bed, bathroom shower and a FULL kitchen. NO SINK in the bathroom.
Welcome to "Penny lane" Penny lane is a furnished private studio apartment in a secured building. There is a bed and a small desk in one room and a step up kitchen with everything you need for your basic cooking needs. THERE is NOT a sink in the bathroom only in the kitchen. I strongly point this out because even though it was ALWAYS in my listing a guest gave me a 3 star for this . I strive for perfection. 5 stars. If you want to cook a huge turkey dinner, contact me for extra pots and pans. There is internet access and a T.V. with cable and Blue ray DVD payer. We have dvd's you can borrow downstairs . Come down and say hi ! There are 9 units upstairs two are ARBNB and the other 7 units are filled with long time tenants .We ask that you be considerate of your noise level on the other hand you are above a restaurant and a bar and it can be a bit boisterous. This is a fun and lively neighborhood and you are within walking distance of some great restaurants and pubs. Also within walking distance is a Safeway , a post office and two major hospitals. Tacoma General and Saint Joseph. You are on a bus line. You are close to downtown where the art museums are located. This is an inner city neighborhood and we experience inner city problems as all cities do. There may be an occasional panhandler etc. I try to be very honest about my location. On the plus side you are close to everything and get all the great things the inner city can bring. The Tacoma dome is 2.5 miles away. The convention center is close. • If you are looking for luxury this isn’t the place for you. If you are looking for a comfortable place to lay your head at night at a reasonable price this place is perfect. It is clean and comfy. The only thing missing is a microwave, but there is a (tiny) but full kitchen otherwise.

    Latisha2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and space was exactly as described! Husband and I spent two nights there to celebrate our anniversary. Easy to walk into downtown, or most everything seemed to be a $7 Uber ride. Bar downstairs was nice as well. The only thing is for us the pillows were a little soft, if we stay again we will bring our own, but that’s just our taste. Jodi was easy to deal with and the gentleman that showed us our room gave us a nice into to the building and the neighborhood.

    Hallie2020-01-02T00:00:00Z

  • Such a great place to stay while visiting family. I had a warm, comfy room in rainy nights and great breakfasts in the morning. Jimmy is a caring and thoughtful host who goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is comfortable. I appreciate the economical rooms, which means I can extend my visit. Also, walking to the Hob Knob for meals is a real plus!

    Deborah2019-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jimmy’s place was so comfortable to come relax at after long days at work. He offers many amenities I didn’t take advantage of because of my schedule, but it was everything I needed and more. (And their pup is super calm, gentle, and friendly. :))

    Christina2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • By far one of the best experiences with Airbnb I've ever had. You really cannot beat the location, affordability, and quality of stay with Jimmy. Jimmy himself is an excellent host; very friendly, easy going, and clear. The amount of thought and effort he puts in is sincere and clearly shows. He has a cleaner there daily and provides really any basic necessity you can think of. 5 stars across the board. Don't pass this place up!

  • This studio is perfect! Plenty of room. Bathroom is a little small as others have said but you make up for it with the rest of the apartment. I liked that it had a secured entry. Bed was super comfy as well as the couch! The apartment is at a bit of a slope as well like others have said but it just gives it a bit more character. I would definitely book with Maria again. :)

    Matt2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jimmy runs a very organized and clean operation. I was a little concerned at first about how many people could potentially stay in the house, however I never once had an issue using the bathroom and most of the time didn't even see the other guests. Very quiet at night and the complimentary breakfast every day is a nice touch. I would stay again.

    Eugene2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Jimmy was the perfect host. He provides everything for a comfortable stay. And hanging out with Hannah was a lovely bonus. I highly recommend Jimmy's place.

  • I truly believe that word of mouth is the best thing for a business. Nancy went above and beyond as a wonderful hostess. If anyone see this post, look no further Nancy’s got you covered. The VIEW is fantastic, modern kitchen, comfortable beds Clean kitchen and bathroom. And of course the hot tub with a view....we so appreciate you with all the details you put into this stay. Will definitely tell everyone about our stay with you.

    Sherry2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy is a wonderful host! I felt right at home upon arriving. The kitchen is has a new modern look and is stocked with plenty of snacks, coffee, tea and water. The beds are comfy and well stocked with pillows and blankets. One unique amenity, which I know guests will appreciate, is the hot tub which sits just outside the entrance door and is positioned to overlook the stunning views of The Pacific Northwest. Thanks again Nancy! I could gladly see myself returning in the future.

  • We booked Nancy’s place because I was having surgery at a nearby hospital and it was a great stay. The place had everything we needed and was stocked with extra food and amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

    Morgan2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy's place was perfect. Easy to find. Clean. And the perfect size for our family. It was a beautiful location not far from anything. Nancy was great at communicating and very thoughtful in all her responses. We hope to definitely stay here again.

You will be central to what Tacoma has to offer. Great museums, parks and shopping.
Quiet, safe, neighborhood. Great for relaxing after spending a day traveling/working around the Seattle/Tacoma area.
walking distance from the Tacoma Dome, cafes, bars, and restaurants.
  • Great place for a a great price. Only issue we ever had was the dryer wouldn’t ever get hot, so it took multiple cycles to dry our clothes. Very quiet neighborhood, Dane is quick to respond, and the unit is exactly as shown. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Tacoma.

    Alex2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy space. Close to the Tacoma Dome for events and concerts. Full kitchen. Comfy beds. Great host!

  • The apartment was very clean and stylish. It was very spacious and had all the amenities needed to make my stay comfortable. Checkin was super easy with a keypad which was great because I arrived very late that night. Dan responded quickly to messages. Location is very close to highway. Highly recommend :)

    Kathryn2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Good value. Plenty of space. Central location.

    Judith2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Check-in was very smooth and easy to navigate at any time! The place was very clean and had everything we needed!

    Lauren2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • I squealed when I walked through the door, it was so cute! My favorite part was the kitchen. There was also a couple of candies on the beds and a few snacks and K-cups available. Very easy but nice touch! It was easy for me to get up early without disturbing my sleeping baby with his dad. The only downside for some would be the stairs up to the apartment are steep and they were a little slippery during the cold nights/early mornings.

    Shalin2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Was a perfect quiet upstairs place, great location, all of 7 minutes to get to downtown Tacoma. Very easy to get to and accommodated our late arrival with no issues. Warm and cozy, was a perfect place for our weekend trip. I'm a light sleeper who's used to a fan, so I use a white noise app on my phone when I travel, but the neighborhood was absolutely silent at night, no cars, no train, no road noise, very nice indeed!

Welcome to our cozy Aloha Tiny House, the perfect central Pacific Northwest location in the quiet neighborhood of Dash Point, NE Tacoma. Just up the street from several beach parks, the Aloha Tiny House includes everything you need for a comfortable stay all wrapped up in a cozy tiny house with your own parking spot and private entrance and deck.
Small but mighty: •Tiny house living in 135 square feet plus queen bed loft and additional storage loft. The Aloha Tiny house, private parking, entrance and deck are separate from our house below. We actually lived in the tiny house while we were building our main house and it is cozy and sturdy in all weather. •Now with air conditioner in the loft with remote control. •Of note, you must be able to climb the secured ladder to the queen bed loft. •The deck includes a table and chairs and a gas BBQ. Don't forget to look up; a bald eagle family lives in the neighborhood and we also enjoy seasonal osprey, blue herons, stellar jays, and other fun bird watching. •The storage loft provides beach chairs, cooler, beach towels and beach blanket for your convenience and enjoyment of our local beaches. The storage loft also stores the ironing board and extra bedding if someone wants to sleep on the loveseat futon. •Kitchen includes mini fridge, K-pod coffee brewer, pour over carafe, large toaster oven, electric griddle, microwave, electric kettle, blender, small crock pot, and dishes and utensils and other essentials like coffee, tea, sugar, paper towels etc. Pots and pans provided for the BBQ and BBQ utensils are stored with the BBQ. •Bathroom includes all towels, soaps and shampoos as well as hair dryer, iron and other amenities. •The TV/DVD combo has HDMI and USB ports with a Roku stick as well as a Bluetooth-enabled stereo speaker and, although we don't have cable, the antennae picks up more channels than basic cable. WiFi is also provided. A lap desk is provided for comfortable laptop use or other projects from the comfort of the loveseat futon. •We have two cats but they do not go in the Aloha Tiny House. There are also other neighborhood animals, both domestic and wild that pass through our lot from time to time. •CAMPING GEAR: We have many guests stay with us before or after Pacific NW camping adventures. We have a complete camping gear kit for rent for anyone traveling from out of town. Message us for details.
Dash Point is a quiet NE Tacoma community on the Puget Sound about 20 minutes from Tacoma city center and we are a few blocks up from Dash Point dock and park. Our street becomes especially quiet once everyone is home from work and the only people we see are neighbors walking their dogs.
  • This adorable, well furnished tiny house is so charming and cozy. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint and the views are super enjoyable, including the ever changing marine traffic. Needing to make an early morning pick up at Seatac this was a great choice for us and we are really glad we stayed here.

  • This was a great place to stay! A wonderful view of the bay and in the middle of everything. Easy access to Seattle as well as Poulsbo. It was such a cute stay and tony and Attina were very quick to respond. Definitely will stay here again!

  • Great view! Cute place. Highly recommended

    Jason2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Tony and Attina's place is a great tiny home just outside of Tacoma and very convenient for going into Seattle. It's a tiny home for sure, but the space is very well used. Spacious enough for two adults for two nights no problem, and the proximity to both cities was a big draw for us. Check in and out was a breeze, and the hosts were great.

"Cabin 36" is cute, clean, cozy and fully separate home conveniently located just .83 miles off I-5 and 3 mi from downtown. It is in a residential area and has old fashioned charm. Has a private back yard, owners live next door.
The cabin is a cute and petite urban cabin around 600 square feet, with two small bedrooms, a living room, bathroom and kitchen. It is called "the cabin" because in 1905 it was a lone cabin on this hill, of course now there is a residential neighborhood built around it but it has kept it's old fashioned charm with high ceilings and original cabinets. It has been given a lot of love over the years so is well cared for, clean, well stocked and extremely cozy. There is a good queen bed in one bedroom (yes, it takes up a lot of the space but is very comfy) and a full sized futon bed in the other bedroom that folds up into a couch. There is a desk in the second bedroom so it can also function well as an office space as there is free high speed secure wifi at the Bungalow. There is a flat screen TV, DVD player, and wii game console with games for families. The TV is not connected to cable but gets wifi and is signed in to our netflix account for movie and series watching. The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, cooking utensils, range, fridge, dishwasher, and dining table as well as plenty of spices and condiments. The Bungalow sits on a large lot with plenty of parking for 2+ vehicles along street and large unfenced yard space, as well as a nice front porch with BBQ, table and chairs and some backyard chairs for relaxing in the sun.
This residential neighborhood of single homes has an interesting mix of a little of everything from turn of the century to new construction. It is on a hill so there is a bit of a view and usually a breeze. While during the recession this neighborhood was struggling, now the prices in Seattle are skyrocketing so we are getting many new, first time homeowners coming in. Most of the houses are cute and well cared for and many are under renovation, or up for sale... It's an eclectic little residential hill, the residents also come from every corner of the globe and walk of life so no one feels out of place here. It is quiet (except around the 4th of July) as our neighbors are working families, and safe here, but also just a few minutes from the bustle of downtown. We live in the house next door and we love it here and are glad to be part of the revitalization of this old Tacoma neighborhood. In terms of crime, despite Tacoma's sometimes bad reputation and homelessness issues throughout the Puget Sound area, (you will see this near the freeway entrances, downtown, and everywhere in Seattle), here on the hill we are not a target for thieves or vagrants (perhaps due to being on a hill that no one cares to walk up) so it stays safe and quiet here year round. (Except the 4th of July when it is very noisy here, as fireworks are legal on this hill!) There is a casino near the freeway entrance so sometimes you can catch bits of concerts from old 80's bands if you are outside some summer evenings but it is not loud and ends by 10. It is completely residential so having a car is a must, but It is a short drive to the freeway, freighthouse square,Tacoma dome, and downtown.
  • We loved staying at this charming and historic cabin. We wish we were staying longer, but loved the time we had here! Notes from the host were everywhere, detailing the history of the building and also helpful tips about the house. It is older, but that adds so much character to it. Everything was clean and you can tell the host put a lot of thought into making it a great experience for everyone who stays here.

    Spencer2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin on the hill was just as described. There was a nicely stocked kitchen, laundry and comfy beds. Check-in was easy. The place was very clean and we had a great stay. Thanks!

A spacious, comfortable room with a queen size bed, a 40" TV, a small table and sofa bed, the decor in white and blue creates a peaceful atmosphere and supports a good night's rest. We provide clean linens, towels, fresh water, cookies and bathroom essentials. There is no kitchen access for guests but there is a breakfast nook in the living room Note: I have two cats in my home. They are not allowed in the bedrooms, but if you are allergic to cats, my home is probably not for you.
Often called a hidden gem, our 1934 English Tudor style home has many admirable original features. Our guests compliment its beauty comfort and sparkling cleanliness. The bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. We have decorated our home in a comfortable European cottage style that sets it apart from most Tacoma homes. Located in southeast Tacoma, our home is situated on a half acre lot with many beautiful old trees, rhododendrons, Japanese maples and other lovely plants and shrubs in a private, fully fenced in setting. Close to several authentic Mexican diners and markets, easy access to public transportation and freeways.
With many tall trees and nice old homes on our old established street, the neighborhood feels secluded, but has easy access to downtown Tacoma, the Tacoma Dome, several wonderful museums, Point Defiance Park, the waterfront, Mt.
  • Greetings Future Travelers! Noel’s place is an absolute must if you are visiting the Tacoma area! His beautiful home is located in the heart of Tacoma. The neighborhood is quite and safe and in walking distance to restaurants, local shops, and Walgreens.

    Adefemi2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Noel is a really great host. He's put some real thought into the guest experience and has lots of nice little touches throughout the room. Loved the water & cookies upon arrival. Loved that the room has a writing desk and a couch -- not all Airbnb rooms do. And the bathroom was an awesome blast from the past. Great 50s/60s colored tile and sink. I also really appreciated Noel's flexibility on check in/check out. I arrived on a very late flight and departed on a very early flight, but Noel was very accommodating and made it easy. The house is on a residential street and not in a "happening" part of town, but Tacoma is pretty compact and you can get downtown within just a few minutes by car. Easy shot up to Seattle as well. And there's abundant parking on Noel's street. Thanks, Noel, for your easygoing hospitality!

    Dylan2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place. Very beautiful and cozy. There was always fresh coffee in the morning ready to brew, as well as English muffins, assorted yogurts and juice. The place was very clean and well kept. I felt like I had absolutely everything I needed and more. Overall, a great experience!

  • Great stop before an interview in the area. Noel was very generous and offered to clean my coat when I spilled sauce all over it. I ended up hand washing it bc of timing reasons but I greatly appreciate the offer

  • This is a truly lovely home that provides a tranquil, civilized retreat in the midst of the bustling city. The room was fantastic and Noel was extremely gracious and accommodating. I look forward to future stays.
