Our place is walking distance to PSU, downtown and the Flying Monkey Theater. You’ll love our place, the apartment has been completely renovated and it is fully stocked for your convenience. Very quaint, clean, clean ,clean and the amenities of home. Bed is super comfy as that is what we look for when we travel! Smart TV, cable and kitchen fully stocked for cooking. This will be your own little home for your stay!
We have recently completely renovated this space. Granite countertops, new wood flooring, kitchen completely stocked and we have furnished it with comfort in mind. When we travel the first thing we remember is how comfortable is the bed! You will LOVE the bed in this apartment! I'm also a clean freak so you will find the apartment spotless!
The apartment is in a residential neighborhood yet you can walk to downtown, PSU and the Flying Monkey Theater.
  • I arrived a little earlier than expected and was unable to get the code to work. I texted Kim and she responded immediately😀 despite the fact that she was on vacation out of the country. That's dedication and truly incredible superhost status! This Airbnb is perfect too. Close to the university, downtown shopping, across the street from the hospital and has all amenities that are necessary to make this feel like home. Look forward to coming back.

  • The apartment was awesome! Would stay again!

  • Short drive to White Mountains. Small, clean apartment with everything you need. Very close to PSU

  • Enjoyed our 1 night stay at Kim's place. Super clean, modern updated kitchen, new hardwood floors, very large bathroom and exceptionally comfortable bed. Nice touches like coffee, creamers for the morning. Living Room couch was comfortable for watching TV mounted on the wall. Outside flood lights convenient when walking at night from the parking area, around to the rental door entrance. Would recommend this rental to family and friends visiting the area.

  • My biggest thing when staying in a place away from my own home is cleanliness. Kim’s place was very clean, and cozy. Had everything we needed for the night. Location is great as well. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Kim.

    Lindsey2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great, clean place with all the necessary amenities and a good kitchen. It is down the street from many restaurants. Easy to check in, and also has a lot of parking space. Kim also left us some recommendations for food and things to do in the area which was very helpful! 10/10 would recommend!

  • This is my second stay at 54B HIghland Street and it is perfectly located to the hospital, university and downtown restaurants and shopping. It is truly cozy for 1-2 people and I highly recommend this property. Kim and her husband kept the drive, parking area and walkways cleared during a huge snowstorm which was appreciated very much. All my texts with questions were answered quickly and action taken immediately if needed. Thank you Kim for another wonderful visit.

  • What a beautiful cabin! It is a studio, but it is super spacious. It was clean and very welcoming. We loved all the windows that allowed for tons of natural light to come in. We truly appreciated all of the cookware that was available being that we brought food too cook for our whole stay. The area was very quiet and dark enough that we got to see the stars every night. There wasn’t anything missing from our stay here. We would do it all over again!

    Adriana2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Viki's place is lovely - big, sparkling clean, cozy, comfortable and able to sleep a lot for the space! We were only two people, but it would have been fine if we were 5! The beds were very comfortable and Viki was kind enough to leave all we needed for breakfast. It was a perfect one night stop over in the area!

    Christina2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Viki is a great host. Check in and out was a piece of cake. There is parking. She left some basic food in the kitchen wish was fantastic so if you don’t want to worry about food right away. She left some ideas for things to do which was super helpful. I would stay again (:

    Jocelyn2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very pleasant experience at Viki’s place! We spent one night and it was the perfect place to lay our heads at night. Super cozy and welcoming. It was awesome to wake up to some breakfast

    Lindsey2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • It looks like this place doubles as an Airbnb as well as a ti t classroom, which makes for a very unique stay. There is no tv, but the decor of the studio more than makes up for it with such a unique experience and great decor. There were also several cots and mattresses tucked away, making it a great place to split with friends.

    Neal2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a beautiful, calming and restive space to be in. It is very well thought out and was just a little haven while staying in the area. We absolutely loved staying there and will surely do so again. Viki is a great host, very respectful of your privacy but more than willing to help if you need anything at all. I give this place full marks.

  • The house was exactly as it was described. The pictures show just what to expect when you walk in the house but not until you cross the threshold can truly appreciate why it is called the dollhouse. The house is tiny, quaint, and absolutely adorable! The bookshelf filled with old books was the highlight for my daughter:). The house was perfect for our quick getaway and we’d love to go back in the summer!

    Debra2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The doll house is simply amazing. It is such a quaint and cozy cottage. Nestled in a lovely town with a backdrop of the beautiful New Hampshire snow covered mountains. Susan was absolutely perfect with communication and the house has all that one would expect when seeking a quiet and relaxing getaway. It was my fiance's first time to the state and she was simply speechless from all beauty of both the town and the doll house itself. We can't wait to return!

    Danny2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Love The Dollhouse! Quaint home in a great location close to downtown, just far enough away. Great neighborhood. Susan was so quick to respond to my questions. Check in was quick and easy. Will be looking forward to coming back!

  • This is a really nice place to relax. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

    Todd2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable place. The descriptions given are right on. The home is a doll house, small as described but plenty of room. We had 4 adults - for just one night-perfect place to lau your head after a fun filled dinner and show. The host has everything you need. The house is fully supplied with linens, dishes, trash bags as well as the cleaning supplies you may need at departure. This was our first airbnb experience, I hope the next can compare.

    Sherry2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • This very cozy cottage was the perfect place for our winter weekend. We visited our daughter at PSU, went shoe showing and visited the Ice Castles! Make sure to hit Phat Phish for lunch while in town.

    Kathryn2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a cozy and inviting space. You feel at home immediately. After a cold snowy hike you couldn't do better. Warm up some hot chocolate and leaf through the many books. You'll love it.

  • Perfect location for a wedding at The Barn on the Pemi! My sister got married at the Barn but had her rehearsal dinner and farewell breakfast at the Common Man Inn and this house was the perfect location in between the two places!! Sparkling clean and adorable decor. Would recommend for anyone who needs to stay in the area!

Quiet, comfortable one-bedroom basement apartment with kitchenette on a NH-designated scenic road, 3.4 miles from downtown Plymouth. King-size bed. Large bathroom with shower (no tub). Private entrance. Wireless internet. TV for streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, PBS, Hulu and Acorn. Five minutes to downtown Plymouth and university, shopping and restaurants. • Came up for a wedding and wanted a reasonable place to stay and be able to bring our dog, but was a little apprehensive having never rented a space that wasn’t a entirely to ourselves. Not only was Pamela incredibly responsive and kind but the space felt very private with its own entrance (and view of the mountains!). I am also very allergic to cats and some dogs and did not have any issues.

    Stephanie2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Pam’s apartment is wonderful. So clean and cozy! We felt at home at Pam’s- the apartment had so many extras!

  • We LOVED our stay at the Paddock, it was so thoughtfully put together and the location cannot be beat. The cherry on top was how incredibly hospitable Doc Gracie is— she made the paddock so warm and welcoming! We will absolutely be staying here again.

Cozy cabin. It has both , a place to relax or have fun. Everything you need is near by.
Great place to rest with view of Tenney Mountain . We are located on the border of the lakes region and white Mountains ,on exit 26 ,Cabin is located 5 miles to downtown Plymouth, 5 minutes to Tenney Mountain ski resort, 30 minutes from LOON MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT , 10 minutes to Newfound Lake and about 20 minutes to Wellington State Park .
    Very peaceful neighborhood.
  • We spent a cozy, snowy weekend at the Black Bear Den. The house was easy to find and right next to Tenney Mountain, where we spent the day snowboarding. The cabin was so new and clean, just like the pictures. There was a bunch of food in the cabinets and the kitchen was very comfortable to cook in. The fireplace worked well and there was extra wood out back. The bed was comfy and the host included a heated blanket. The cabin was decorated nicely and everything was in beautiful shape. Check in/out was a breeze, Adrian communicated with us and was always accessible by Airbnb message.

    Alex2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is my second stay at Adrian's cabin. Last year we wanted a getaway near the mountains intitally out plan was to do a lot of winter out door activities. We loved the cabin so much we just didn't want to leave. The cabin both times were spotless clean and all the decorative details makes it a home away from home. I booked my last trip as a Xmas gift to my boyfriend cause he loved our stay so much. Our stay was just as pleasant as before but we explored the area. I highly recommend visiting the Main street area near the college (12 minutes away), we spent a good four hours walking into local mom and pop stores. The area has great food, clothing stores and focuses on celebrating local artists. Also check out 6 burner bistro more high end restaurant great for a night out. Lastly both trips Adrian the day before always reached out with detailed instructions, checked in during out stay and emailing us farewell. I've had other instances in other stays had to chase down the owner for a key code, question etc. We are planning to book another stay in the summer to explore some hiking and other activities. This by far is our favorite area, far away to feel excluded from the busy world but have tons of things to do nearby.

    Bethany2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Incredibly clean and cozy cabin, far enough yet close enough to surrounding attractions. Adrian is a great host, and really takes amazing care of the cabin. I can’t wait to return!

  • Black Bear Den was adorable! We loved the decor, the peacefulness, and its convenient location! We’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!

  • Can't say enough good things about this cabin. We stayed here in early 2019 and loved it so much that we returned for a second visit in January 2020. Great design, location, and overall experience. Thanks Adrian!

    Mark2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Adrians log cabin this past weekend and it was exactly what we expected and exactly what we needed. The cabin was super clean and cozy. Just what we wanted for a New Hampshire feel! The only thing... is that this cabin did not have a traditional oven so we couldn’t make the meal that we brought ingredients for. Other than that we had a perfect stay and will definitely recommend !

    Alexandria2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Adrian's place made for the perfect cabin weekend getaway! The kitchen was fully stocked to make whatever we wanted. The living room was cozy and was perfect atmosphere to throw on some face masks, read a book and play some games. Loved all the little touches. Adrian was very responsive. Only 10 minutes from downtown. Highly recommend!

An adorable cabin to stay in while you ski at the newly re-born Tenney Mountain Ski Area, or spend the weekend snowmobiling through the many miles of trails which are accessible just at the across the street. Much hiking and lake fun at nearby Newfound Lake to be had during the warmer months; or just relax to the babbling brook off the covered back deck Built by Tenney Mountain co-founder John French and used for many years as housing for ski patrol, a lot of good times have been had here.
The cabin is very unique in that it was custom built and was positioned in the perfect orientation to take advantage of the beautiful Tenney Brook in the backyard. The cabin is the only house on the road with only one log cabin visible on the road beneath and the peek a boo views through the woods of the tubing hill, Tenney base lodge, and a few street lights from across the brook. The cabin is a good balance of rustic with some modern amenities, the upstairs feels a bit like a treehouse which kids love. Hear is provided by forced hot water and an optional use of the cozy wood stove fireplace insert.
The neighbors are very nice though you will rarely run into them unless you are up at the ski lodge bar and restaurant or else where on the slopes. It's a great mix of privacy when you want it and fun times when you want them! Located about half an hour or less from these other ski mountains: Loon Mountain, Canon Mountain, Waterville Valley, Gunstock Located about 15 minutes or less from: Squam Lake, Little Squam Lake, Holderness, Ashland Located about ten minutes or less from: Plymouth State University, The Barn on the Pemi, Italian Farmhouse, Common Man, All downtown Plymouth Amenities, Grocery stores, Walmart, Newfound Lake, Livermore Falls, Sculptured Rocks State Park, Cardigan State Park, Rattlesnake Mountain Hiking
  • Dustin’s cabin was truly the perfect mix of rustic and modern. He was so thoughtful and messaged us to inquire on our time of arrival so he could ensure that the driveway was sanded and ready for us (and also left wood and fire starters!) We loved having wood stove as well as the back deck and being able to grill while listening to the stream peacefully babbling in the background. The board games and Keurig were also welcome touches. We traveled with our dog (who absolutely LOVED the doggy den upstairs and immediately dove into it and was ecstatic to find a ball inside) and we appreciated the tie outs so she was able to explore. We truly loved this magical little space and will definitely be back!

  • We had a great time at Dustin and Cara’s cabin. It was clean and in a great location for us. We enjoyed being near Tenney Mountain and Ragged Mountain.

    Lisa2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place! We loved the wood stove and the deck was great. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. It's a beautiful setting and we can't wait to go back. Its well stocked with towels and blankets and games. The TVs are equipped with streaming services. We brought a drying rack to dry mittens and hats by the fire. We were really able to make ourselves at home and relax after a day of skiing. Thank you Dustin for sharing your wonderful cabin.

    Jim2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic cabin that I would love to go back to. We had a big group but it still felt spacious. The beds were super comfortable and the property is extremely scenic. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy spot in the woods!

    Katharine2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect place!! Dustin was a great host. Absolutely no complaints!

    Kelsey2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This entire experience proved to be way better then we could have ever imagined. From the minute we walked in we fell in love. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Dustin was helpful, both before and during our trip, with whatever questions we had. After the first night, we all agreed to make this an annual thing =)

    Britt2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Dustins place was perfect for our little ski trip! many mountains are within 30 min from the cabin and there was tons of restaurants and things to do.. The cabin itself was extremely clean and cozy! we had fun playing games and sitting around enjoying each others company when we settled in for the night! can’t wait to visit again!

    Brittany2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here with a few friends and was able to bring my dog and we had a ton of fun! Highly recommend the house and Dustin was very helpful.

Chic style with all the comforts of home. Lots of custom woodwork. Parking directly in front of entrance. 2 Miles from coffee shop and restaurants. 35 min to Cannon, Under 30 min from Waterville, Loon, and lots of hiking trails.
The space is the entire first floor of our place. It has its own entrance, entry way/mud room area for shoes, coats and other outdoor stuff. Then an all open concept with a full bath. We have done all our own custom wood trim work to give a unique quality look and feel you won’t find anywhere else.
Our neighborhood is a farm type setting. 2 of our neighbors have horses and so do we. There is a nice field next to us and down across the road as well. Beautiful views in the winter when the leaves are off the trees. We are close to many good restaurants and even a couple breweries. Campton Mountain is a small ski area with a chair lift and rope row open for night skiing on Friday and Saturday nights. Waterville, Loon, and Cannon mountain are all within 20-35 min. Mount Washington and Bretton woods are under an hour. There is lots of hiking close by as well as the Pemi and Mad River to enjoy in the warmer months for kayaking, swimming, and fishing.
  • The place was great. I would stay again without thought.

    Alex2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and private. I didn't expect the toiletries or wine that was waiting for us. Ally and Bert were great hosts and quickly responded to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Great location and a cozy place to stay. Friendly and helpful hosts!

  • Great hosts, cute place and perfect location. Visiting the horses was by far my favorite part and the complimentary coffee too. Will be returning in the summer months for sure.

    Ashley2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, Bert was great and they had a ton of information about the area, things to do and places to see. A short drive from Lincoln, Loon Mountain and many other areas of interest. The stat itself was clean and well maintained, easy to locate and they made sure it was plowed so that we wouldn’t have trouble coming and going. Awesome experience.

  • This stay is amazing. A wonderful little spot with everything you could possibly need. A perfect stay for 2 people checking out the area. Can’t wait to be back!

  • An outstanding stay! Our team of four spent the night here before going to volunteer at Plymouth State U during the presidential primary. Clean space, great heating, comfy beds, and easy late evening check-in using the lockbox. Simple to find with Google maps and plenty of parking for our three passenger vans, which was great.

    Elizabeth2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Ally & Bert's place was perfect place to spend the night in order to hit Waterville Valley for a day of skiing. Everything was immaculate, and incredibly comfortable. Radiant heat flooring, hot showers and a wonderfully comfortable bed - all we could have asked for!

We are looking forward for our next stay.

It was absolutely clean when we first walked in, and he even asked us when we would be there to make sure the place was at a good temp. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely again if I ever have to be in the area.

  • Great spot just as described for a nice weekend in the mountains.

    Patrick2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean place with a nice updated modem look... Easy access with personalized visit codes for each stay... Was warned to keep quiet after 10 for neighbors that may call if noisy - but unit next to us was vacant and dark throughout the day and night, and other units were rentals to skiers and and snowmobilers. Was a comfortable stay, and there are a few local bars to be louder if you're celebrating freedom. The 2 Chinese spots were actually very popular under 30 drinking spots for younger crowds - the 2 regular bars were mostly 30+ aged crowds. Luckily we mix with whatever looks more appealing 😉

Experience the laid back vibe in this old-school ski chalet, home of the original developer of Tenney Mountain Ski Area. Relax to the sound of the brook, breathe the fresh air, kick back in retro style. The large living/dining area surrounded by glass puts you among the trees. 2 hours from Boston, this area is considered the Gateway to the White Mountains. The soapstone stove for decorative purposes only! NO FIRES are permitted on the property per insurance regulations.
This unique property will take you back in time. The chalet served as a primary home for many years but now is available for you to enjoy. Although updates have been done much of the original detail remains. Escape to our retro chalet in the woods...you will love it!
Quiet, wooded neighborhood with year-round residents. Please observe the 10 mph speed limit as there are young children and pets which may wander into the road.
  • Super cozy and perfect location. Peaceful setting in the woods. I'm sure I will stay here many more times next ski season.

    Janet2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing everything. The space is exactly what it is on the pictures. Very accurate, only more dreamy when you’re actually there. It was like being in some snowy fairytale. Marysia was no less fantastic. Very accessible and very informative. Super nice person. We are definitely coming back. I can’t even believe that THIS place is available for THAT price. A steal. Thank you Marysia for making this possible! And thank you for the homemade cookies that were waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived :)

    Matt2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent stay at Marysia's ski house. My family of 7 stayed comfortably for 3 nights. Marysia even left baked good for us to enjoy during our stay. Would recommend for anyone looking for a reasonably-priced ski weekend house in NH.

    Sophia2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious and unique with some amazing artwork and some pretty cool antiques. Views were amazing.

    Jamie2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a great weekend at Marysia's place, which almost felt like being in a tree house. It was very cold outside, but the house was cozy and warm. There were homemade muffins and the kitchen was equipped with some basics (including coffee). Marysia is very nice and was really quick in responding to messages. Everything was perfect and we would love to come again!

    Martina2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our two days in this clean, comfortable light and airy home! Large windows looking out to beautiful woods and rushing brook, 3 comfortable beds, Marysia was such a helpful host and made it clear we could contact her anytime, though we had no need. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom had fluffy towels and a large, walk in large shower. A warm, wonderful place to enjoy some family time, I would definitely come back.

    Lynn2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication from the host and a very clean and beautiful place to stay. We had a wonderful time and will hopefully come back soon.

    Leah2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • 2 friends and I had a very nice stay. This home provided a very good value for having our own quiet place. I loved being nestled in the trees overlooking a small creek. The home is kept up, but with the goal of keeping true to the time it was built. There is a nice living room/dining room that looks out at the trees and creek. Behind that room is a short Hall with the three bedrooms all in a row, with one bathroom and the kitchen adjacent to the larger room too. There are some steps into the living area of the house, but then everything is on one level. The area is quiet, but I was glad I brought my white noise machine since there is not much insulation between the rooms and so you can hear if someone in another room opens their closet or gets on or off their bed. My bed was comfortable, but one of my friends said her bed was too firm. I did not have any difficulty finding the house using the gps on my phone. The last 2 roads were bumpy, but with a small suv I was a little higher off the road and it was fine. The host was wonderful about checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and replying right away. The cost was very reasonable and we had a great stay.

Try the tiny life! Adorable tiny home on wheels, built on a 22’ trailer. Nestled in Hill, NH, but with so much to do...We are 8 miles from Ragged Mountain Ski Resort, 26 miles from White Mountain National Forest, and just a few feet away from snowmobile trails that extend all the way into Canada. Please visit our website littlehouseintheboro to learn more.
The tiny house is parked near our barn, off a quiet dirt road in Hill, NH. It includes a kitchen with the basics, a small bathroom with shower and rv-style toilet, a queen bed in the loft, and a twin bed on the main floor. We rarely use AC, but there is a window unit and also an electric fireplace for cool evenings. We haven’t yet figured out how to get cable and WiFi down to the tiny house. The TV has a DVD player and HDMI port. Depending on what cell service you have, reception may or may not be good. That being said, the outdoors is why most people visit, so we hope you won’t miss the technology.
The beauty of central NH is beyond compare. Lakes, rivers, mountains, forests... We really have it all!
  • Beautiful, quiet property. Gorgeous tiny house and excellent hosts. Far enough away, but close enough if you want a nice dinner or drinks...Amenities are great - a nice little surprise! We had a great time and will be recommending the tiny house to our friends!

  • Barbara’s Tony house was an absolute perfect little getaway. It was very spacious even for being a tiny house. It had great amenities. Highly recommend anyone who wants to experience a tiny house this is the one to try out !

    Anthony2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • I had a blast living the tiny life! Barb provided everything you could imagine to make it a home away from home. If you’re new to the area, there’s a binder with plenty of restaurant suggestions to check out. It’s located in a beautiful, peaceful area and I’ll surely be coming back.

    Katherine2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • First experience with a tiny home and it was more than needed. The beds were so comfortable and the amenities are plenty! The host was very thoughtful and intentional with communication and recommendations, which we really appreciated. *We strongly suggest following the written out directions even though they seem cumbersome instead of putting address in GPS. For us, the GPS kept taking us through the literal forest, not a real road.* Lovely spot to stay in especially in the fall!!

    Amrith2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara is a great host. I arrived to find a plant gracing the reception table and a bowl of fresh fruit. So very welcoming. She checked in to be sure I didn’t need anything or have any questions. The fall scenery was magnificent.

  • This place is CHARMING!! Firstly when you walk in the wood stove is roaring and so toasty. You get such a wonderful feeling being in this cottage. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and set up the place for my nephew who is allergic to a lot of detergents. Went out their way to wash everything with non scented and did so much more. The rooms were great size. We will definitely be back. Thank you again!!! If you’re even thinking about hitting book - do it!

  • Awesome, private place with amenities better than a hotel. Loved the privacy and coziness that it provided. We felt we were home! Thanks!

  • What an outstanding place! The cabin was perfect for our girls weekend and visit to the Ice Castles! Every detail was taken care of, from clean to comfortable to feeling right at home only better! We all said we would definitely come back again to enjoy this little piece of heaven!

    Marge2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Woodside is a wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the area or just have a little peace and quiet. The house is sparkling clean and oh so comfy! The little touches (like fresh baked goodies and personalized welcome note) are so appreciated. You can tell that Anne and Mary take pride in what they do and that they work hard to make the stay just perfect. I already miss the peace and quiet. My little girl and I are already planning our spring/summer stay. I highly recommend this lovely cottage. ❤️

    Nancy2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Woodside cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a quick little family vacation away from Boston. It was easy to get to (2 miles from highway with fast food, supermarket, dunks), affordable, clean, spacious for 2 adults and 2 small kids and the long driveway to the cabin provided us the seclusion in the woods we so desperately needed! What I didn’t expect were the little touches that made our stay that much better...cinnamon buns, cookies, fresh flowers, a gas fireplace, WiFi passwords in every room along with reading glasses and hand sanitizer/tissues, and not forgetting the board games and sleds for our kids. We spent most of the time relaxing, playing in the snow and sledding (there is a small trail off the driveway that we hiked up with our sleds which the little ones loved!). We mainly went up to visit the Ice Castles, which were also fun, but honestly the cabin was the highlight of our stay!

    Marissa2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was great. Clean, well equipped, sunny, and generally a nice place to be. Close to downtown Plymouth and Holderness School. And thanks so much for the scones!

    Eric2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place to stay! Highly recommend. Look forward to staying again.

    Tom2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, super clean, very thoughtful host! Thanks for a great stay! About 25 min to Cannon and Waterville for skiing . Perfect for 3 ladies and we all got our own rooms!

    Kim2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This house was incredible! The space was set neatly and was very clean! We did not need for anything as there was everything and more provided. The location is so close to down town but secluded enough that you feel like you’re in your own little peace of tranquility. We can’t wait to go back!

A lovely clean, green, & cozy private room in a family home on a quiet residential street, steps from PSU, nestled between mountains and lakes in New Hampshire.
Greetings from Plymouth! A COVID19 message: we are not accepting bookings through April 2020. Although our home is currently unaffected, and the sparse nature of central New Hampshire populations makes it an ideal place to remove to, we are taking our family and community health seriously. We hope to welcome you in the warmer times to come. Peace, RJX. What we are: A family home with private guest rooms, a social space, a hosting spot for adventurers. What we're not: A hotel/motel/crash pad/cheap room. If that's what you're looking for, there are plenty of other options out there. The Skinny: We have one private guest room with a full (double) bed that can accommodate 2 adults and possibly a small child. For an additional charge and upon request, we have an additional (tiny) room that has one twin (single) bed, and a trundle bed, which is good for children, or single adults. Secure parking for bikes in our garage. NOT A WHOLE HOUSE RENTAL. Booking: Please send a personal note to confirm you have read our full description here including 'Other Things to Note', our profile, and to let us know a bit about you. This will greatly help expedite the booking process and assure you will be at ease in our home. Do note this IS NOT an ensuite (apartment) or whole-house rental: this is a family home with private guest rooms: WE LIVE HERE. Additionally, unless you specify otherwise, a reservation for 2 people will be for ONE room: the Green Room. A bit more detail: Whether you cruise, climb, hike, ride, tube, skate, or just play, we can provide you with a comfy place to spend your downtime. Or if business brings you to town, our room has a large desk, wifi, and ample workspace. We are at the doorstep of the White Mountain National Forest and adjacent to the northern Lakes Region, with easy access via road or interstate. For reference, we are 25 minutes / 25 miles south of Franconia Notch State Park, 7 miles/10-15 minutes' drive to Rumney Rocks, and 30 miles/30 minutes' drive to both Kinsman Notch or Cannon Cliff. Or discover some local gems, such as Quincy Bog, Plymouth Mountain, and Livermore Falls, all within 5 miles of our home. Our house is a traditional American Foursquare, built in 1930, with many original details. Airy and bright, it is a family home, with one guest bedroom available for guests at this time. The guest room comfortably accommodates a couple/2 adults, possibly with the addition of a child. Our Overflow Room, the second bedroom (aka our study) may be available for additional guests, upon request, for an additional small fee. Sheets, blankets, towels, and basic toiletries are provided. We offer complimentary wifi, and you will have access to the living room, parlour, porch, and kitchen. We make fresh ground coffee every morning, or upon request-- just ask! In our home we have a peculiarly large library, so if you fancy a good read, we can help with that, too.
Plymouth, NH is a beautiful small New England town just south of the confluence of the Baker and Pemigewassett Rivers. Sitting between the northern NH Lakes Region and the White Mountains, we are convenient to all kinds of outdoor activity, year-round. Ours is a quiet, tree-lined prewar residential street, close to Plymouth State University and Main Street downtown.
  • This is a very nice place, they were very helpful and even drove me to the ski resort!

    Markus2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy family home in Plymouth, great spot to start your mountain adventure. The home was lovely, and had all the amenities one could ask for. They even ran an extension cord so the far side of the bed can get a phone charger too - excellent attention to detail. Would gladly return!

  • Amazing location! We hope to visit again in the summer and take advantage of the short walk to town! We loved our stay with Rebecca and her family in Plymouth! If you need any tips or info on the local area they’ve got you covered.

  • Great shared space. Welcoming family

    Matt2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Rebecca, John and Xander are a sweet family. My two friends and I felt comfortable immediately in their home. Rebecca and John were very hospitable, knowledgeable and helpful when we asked about hiking and dining options nearby. Since our purpose was to spend the weekend hiking and mainly have the airbnb as a place to start and end our day, this home was a great solution. It was walking distance to Plymouth and a stone's throw away from Highway 93.

    Gerard2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Rebecca’s home is a quintessential New Hampshire experience. It is in a lovey quiet neighborhood and smells of lavender. She was very kind and friendly but also gave us our space. This is a perfect spot for quiet relaxation. I wish we could have stayed all week!

Three room treehouse with huge windows in a reading room area set at the end of a field looking towards Mt Moosilauke. Walking trail to the river is outside your door. Like camping but better! Surrounded by forest and fields. w/ your own Firepit. We are a 10 min drive from many trailheads, two access points to the AT, Rumney Rocks (trails and world famous rock climbing). Note: You cannot drive to the treehouse. There is a cart at the parking area about a 5 minute walk from treehouse.
Have a White Mountains farm experience and a tree house stay all at once. Currier Brook farm is a 250+ yr old, 22 acre working farm located along the Baker River. The tree house is located along the forest line in the back pasture. It has three small rooms plus a sleeping nook. One of the rooms has large picture windows for walls and makes for a comfortable space to read while enjoying the outdoors inside. The tree house is equipped with a camping propane stove, cast iron skillets, utensils, plates, bowls, drinking vessels and potable water containers. **We provide an ample supply of potable water at the treehouse. There is an indoor composting toilet and a solar shower bag. Fire ring and charcoal grill are also at the tree house area. Enjoy walking, running or mountain biking along the extensive old railroad trail that cuts through the farm and goes from Montreal to Central NH. Like hiking or climbing? We are 10 mins from Rumney Rocks, Mt Moosilauke, and sections of the AT. Planning to hike the AT and need a ride to the farm? We may be able to provide transport with advance notice. Animals that currently reside on the farm include dogs, cats, and Icelandic Sheep. The tree house is far enough away from the workings of the farm and the farm house that you can expect privacy unless you initiate a visit to the farm area. You will need to walk in all of your belongings unless we are available to use the lawn tractor and trailer to take it back. It is a 5 minute walk from where you will park. NO ELECTRICITY. Bring your headlamps, lanterns, etc ***NEW*** Propane heater buddy available (safe to use inside). Propane provided. If you decide to use there will be a $10 charge for propane.
In the White Mountains with access to the Baker River, Mt Mooselauke, a short drive to Woodstock and Lincoln, close by to outdoor adventures of all kinds.
  • Just book it already! Better than camping out in a tent with the same vibe. Absolutely stunning property close to all the attractions in the area. It’s a unique place to stay and a trip you’ll remember for sure.

  • Stayed with My Mom and Doggo for a quick trip. It was a lovely experience even though it was raining a bit when we arrived. The host helped answer our questions when we arrived too!

    Stephanie2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was the first airbnb I’ve stayed at and it was a beautiful, new experience. At first I was hesitant when I saw it only because I’ve never been without electricity or stayed anywhere like this but it grew on me within only an hour or two. It’s very intimate especially if you’re here with someone and I keep thinking about it and wanting to go back. It’s definitely not for everyone. It gets very cold at night and you have to do pretty much everything yourself from washing dishes to cooking, etc. It was definitely a new experience for us but I quickly learned that I am that type of person! Its quite a bit of a walk; the hardest part was taking our stuff back and forth but the location and everything was beautiful. Again its definitely not for everyone but if you’re into that stuff or want to try to be or get away it can be quite a life-changing experience. I learned a lot about myself and my partner even though we were only there a couple days. I brought my dog and he was ridiculously in love with it. It made me have a different perspective of everything when we left. I was actually quite sad to go back home. We will definitely, without a doubt, go back. Hopefully, fingers crossed, next year.

Make sure to bring blankets because it did get chilly in the treehouse in the mornings. The atmosphere was great, the string lights were so pretty on the trees. There were a lot of nice touches from the owner like candles, books, bug spray, toilet paper and a game board.

  • Debbie's place was perfect for us. Very reasonably priced and close to Waterville. The first night was around -5 out and some of the drain pipes froze and they were fixed by the time we got back from the mountain that night with a very nice note and $20. She also left eggs, bread, milk, and lots of snacks for us that were such a nice treat. To top it all off she left us a box of chocolates for Valentines day. She is very considerate with all her thoughtful little touches. We would love to visit again next year!!

  • This space was very nice, no surprises- just like it was advertised! Debbie was very communicative and we appreciated that she and her husband had the driveway/walkway very well sanded and snow removed during a challenging weather weekend. Easy to find and a great value! Also, appreciated the snacks/drinks that were available.

Located in the Lakes Region of NH on the Pemigewasset River, it is short drive to Newfound Lake or to downtown Plymouth. The property is a work in progress as we establish and grow our farm.
Set back off the main road, but pretty central to multiple attractions in the area. The guest house is separated from the main house by a 2 car garage & a breezeway. There are lots of casual to fine dining experiences around
There is many beautiful hiking trails throughout our area along with a few local parks that are wonderful for the outdoor enthusiast. The beautiful Newfound Lake is near by with lots of activities available. Depending on the time of year, the farm is close to multiple ski mountains and snowmobile trails. Many local events happening all year Websites to consider Central NH Chamber of Commerce www.centralnh.org Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce www.lakesregionchamber.org
  • This is a magical, special place, run by some of the nicest people we have ever met, Amanda and Chris. Their place is very tasteful, and had everything you could want. It was clean, classy and peaceful. The only challenge is a muddy driveway because of mud season, and that was mitigated by Chris taking the tractor out and grading so we could have an easier time getting in and out. They are wonderful people, honest, kind and ever so helpful. My wife and I will most surely stay here again, and can't say enough positive things about them and their tasteful home. The farm fresh eggs are a special extra that made staying here even better.

  • My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. Amanda greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a key to the farmhouse and showed us around the interior. She checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were happy and was helpful in finding restaurant ideas, etc. We visited during the winter and the road the house is located off of was a bit bumpy due to frost heaves in the roadway so we had to do some navigating around them to ensure we didn’t bottom out in our vehicle (VW CC so lower to the ground). Otherwise, everything was nice, the location is quiet and perfect for someone looking to get away for a weekend and be outside of the hustle and bustle yet close enough to stores, restaurants, and outdoor activities.

    Nicole2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda’s place provided a wonderful and much needed weekend away. We visited the ice castles which is just a short drive away. She provided us with great local recommendations and her local knowledge was a huge help with navigating the back roads. The place was as advertised and very clean. We would love to stay here, when we visit New Hampshire again. Thank you!!

    Mike2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Amanda's guesthouse! It's a very nice, private and peaceful place with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Big plus for having two bathrooms, bed pillows with proper support, and extra blankets and a separate heater in the bedroom as we had a couple of pretty cold nights. It can take a bit for the guesthouse to heat up on very cold days but having the sunlight come through the big windows helps speed things up. Little things like being able to watch the birds on the bird feeder on the front porch in the morning was great. Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime was awesome. Amanda was very helpful and attentive, answering all our questions, offered us farm fresh eggs and told us to let her know if we needed anything. She kindly left us a book about the night sky after we were checking out constellations one evening. Her husband did a great job at clearing the road and the driveway of snow and he even removed a foot of snow from our car the morning we were checking out, which was very kind and appreciated! All in all a great experience and we would love to stay here again!

    Hilde2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda’s place is super clean and perfect for a weekend getaway. Easy to locate and exactly what we needed.

    Sara2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and well decorated. Loved the fresh eggs and activity brochures Amanda provided! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

    Katie2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and amazing host. Very clean and accommodating! Would recommended.

    Tara2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda was amazing, she honestly couldn’t have been any better to us! The place was immaculate and anything I needed she answered immediately. I look forward to staying with her again in the future.

Escape to the warmth, hospitality and good cheer of the Federal House Inn of New Hampshire. The Inn is an historic property, built in 1835, lovingly restored in keeping with the period. We are centrally located between the Lakes and White Mountains Regions in Plymouth, New Hampshire and just minutes from Plymouth State University, Holderness School and over a dozen Summer Camps.
We serve a complimentary multi course breakfast from 8 - 10am. There is complimentary bottled water in the dining room as well as wine and cookies from 3 - 5pm. We also serve complimentary sweets and tea in the evening. The library has a piano, games and movies for guests to enjoy!
Walk next door to a wonderful restaurant/brew pub 'The Last Chair' -- they make awesome brick oven pizza. On the weekends they have live music and in the winter a roaring fire, in the summer they have outdoor dining! In the downtown of Plymouth, Six Burner Bistro is a great choice for lunch and dinner with locally sourced meats and farm fresh veggies. They also have roaring fireplaces in the winter and outdoor dining in the summer!
  • This was such a wonderful experience. Kevin is an amazing host. Thank you for somemuch needed R&R!!

    Bridget2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin is seriously the best. He is incredibly responsive. We came in later than expected and he was still awake to greet us and show us around. Scones, wine and Port were still out for us to treat ourselves if we wanted. Oh and Roses in our room and chocolates on our bed. 😊 The room was so quaint and cozy- the fireplace was the perfect touch and the bed was comfy. In the morning we had fresh fruit and delicious salmon and eggs. Down the street is the Last Chair which was a must try for good drinks and food. Walkable too! Kevin is personal and a great host, stay for a true bnb experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

    Gretta2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience for his guests! With home cooked, organic, locally sourced healthy breakfasts, complimentary nightly wine and baked goods, and a hot tub under the stars, I felt as though I was returning to a home at the end of the day rather than a rented room. The bnb is right next to Last Chair Brewery and Tenney mountain which was convenient and fun. Plymouth is nicely located in the sense that it is close to Loon and Cannon mountains, but far enough away (approx 30 min) so that you are removed from the hustle and bustle of the towns those mountains are located in. One thing to note, while it did not detract from our stay at all, was that while you are able to lock the door to your room from the inside, when you leave for the day the door does not lock behind you. The Inns main entrance is passcode protected and Kevin clearly keeps very careful watch in the property, so we weren’t worried in the slightest, just something that may help out future travelers. We loved our stay and are very grateful to Kevin and the Federal House Inn!

    Andrea2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful Airbnb with wonderful hospitality.

    Samantha2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a short but absolutely outstanding stay. My fiance and I stayed in Harry’s room which has a window to the grounds positioned just opposite the bed; wonderful for us to be able to wake up in the morning and sit up in bed, coffee in hand, staring out at the sunlit, snow covered acreage. Kevin was a wonderful host, truly genuine in the love he puts into his work. The inn is remarkable in character, incredibly clean, quiet, private, and just the right amount of connection and humanity in the morning over breakfast. On the practical side: great location, day passes to the gym that shares the inn’s parking lot, ample parking (nice and flat grounds for us little cars with no 4WD), hot tub on the grounds, and amenities practically by the hour (chocolates, wine, port, beer, coffee, tea, scones, cookies, cheese, etc etc!) Thanks for a wonderful stay and we will be happy to come back!

    Michelle2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Nice, quiet stay in the mountains. Comfortable rooms in a historic house near Plymouth, N.H., within driving distance of several nice hiking and ski areas. We greatly enjoyed our time at the Federal House Inn, as well as Kevin's hospitality during our stay.

    Eric2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The effort that goes into making sure your stay is amazing is insurmountable. Kevin was a gracious host that goes above and beyond for his guests. The complimentary drinks and treats make it feel like you're staying in a "home away from home" rather than just sleeping somewhere like a hotel. The room was wonderful, everything was sparkling clean, it's an extremely convenient location, great breakfast, and the list goes on. I can not speak high enough praises and greatly look forward to coming back in the hopefully near future. Kevin, thanks again for making me and my boyfriend's anniversary one to remember.

Come enjoy the beautiful space that we have created at Camp Cuzweewanna. This camp is a 16' x 16' army tent that we leave up year round! Sit around the campfire and enjoy the night sky. Walk down the road to hike or enjoy Little Squam Lake. Visit our farm and farm stand and see the cows across the way in their field. The camp is very private, it does sit on the road (about 100' off road) but the traffic is minimal. Come "Glamp" with us!
This is a camp so expect camping accommodations (trees, stars, flowers, bugs and wildlife). The good news is that you don't have to schlep all your camping gear around! There is no electricity, everything is battery and solar powered. It is really nice to unplug and enjoy camping! The tent itself is very sturdy and yurt-like, we leave it up year round. The "bathroom" is an outhouse (port-a-potty) and the shower is an outdoor solar shower setup. There is also a sink that is hooked up to the solar heated water. We provide you with enough wood for ample fires and if you use more than we provide you can purchase more at our farm stand. This rental is good for people that already have some camping experience.
Our neighborhood is very quiet, we have one neighbor that is elderly and other than that it's just us! We have a small farm with mini donkeys, chickens, dogs and cats. We do have roosters that crow in the morning but they do not wake us up, they are nice to hear upon waking. There are cows across the street from us and lots of beautiful wildlife. There are several hiking trails and lakes in our area that are beautiful all year! There is a public beach 1.5 miles down the road so you can walk or drive there as well.
  • I absolutely adored this place! It was everything I needed for my own little weekend getaway. The location was a great home base for heading into the white mountains during the day. Since I was visiting in October, I’m definitely glad I came prepared to bundle up at night since it got wicked cold. However, it made it feel like a true camping experience but with a very comfy bed!!! Patty was super informative, very responsive & just generally so sweet. I would come back to stay in the future in a heartbeat.

    Tess2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The tent was beautiful! Truly enjoyed the scenery, and Patty was very kind.

  • Really nice set up. Everything you can need!! Clean and fun!!

    Betsy2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • I only stayed for one night here so I didn’t get to experience the awesome outdoor amenities this place offers, but it is really cool. Patricia was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would definitely come back to actually experience the grounds!

    Rachel2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • This glamping experience was cozy and the location was perfect with a short hike just down the road and some of the best local food right around the corner! No service allowed us to disconnect and just be in nature. Campfire amenities were provided and the bathroom was really clean. Only thing that would've been nice would be a little gas stove but otherwise it was really great :)

    Yvette2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying at this cozy campsite! Patricia provided everything you could need to be comfortable from ample firewood to kitchen amenities. We enjoyed walking around nearby Whitten Woods and sitting by the fire at night. A great option for campers of any experience or age!

    Nina2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to stay at if you're looking on a budget. Even if you're not, check it out because it was really cozy and a lot of fun!

  • I had a great time at Jim & Christine's place. It's a beautiful house, the location is perfect, and I loved the cleanliness. I also felt very welcome, and I truly enjoyed my conversations with Jim. And Christine went out of her way to prepare a very early breakfast on Saturday! I appreciated that, although I insisted that she didn't have to to the same on Sunday. I'll certainly go back!

In the morning our hosts had fresh muffins, scones, and fruit which was all delicious. They gave us great advice on what to do in the area and made our trip that much more fun. If we ever come back to this area I know exactly where we will stay!

Price reduction for Mar/April. If you need a get-away place at this time, we'd be happy to have you. The private condo has been completely cleaned with extreme care. It's an comfortable space in a quiet location surrounded by trees, 3 minutes from downtown. It's 2 miles from Route 93, near supermarket, 3 min to local hospital. Comfy living room with electric fireplace, eating area/work space, full kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 bedrooms with own bathrooms, good wi-fi.
The living room has comfortable seating, an electric fireplace for cool nights, individual thermostat heating for each room, wi fi and good cell service. There are books and games to share. Tea and coffee and condiments are available as well as bread or English muffins in the freezer, and butter and jams. The kitchen is well equipped with basic cooking supplies for making your own meals. Two supermarkets are only 2 minutes away. The bathrooms have soap, hand wash, shampoos and conditioners and hand lotion. In addition we have provided many small items which you might need. There are steps down from the parking lot and then up to the condo with good railings. We are "super cleaners" as we know a spotless space is important! We wipe all surfaces with Clorox wipes.
The location is very quiet and peaceful and yet there is everything one could want in the charming small town downtown. It is possible to go very short distances and take walks to get outside and get exercise and fresh air. The deck looks out on tree tops and offers a nice outdoor sitting space. There is so much to do in this area. In winter it's 10-25 minutes from three ski areas including Waterville, Tenney and Loon mountains. There are the White Mountains and world class hiking, famous Rumney Rocks for climbing, many bike and walking trails, rivers and lakes for swimming and kayaking. There are often concerts and activities at the University. Small shops and antiquing abound as well as great local eateries. We can help you find the right family activities if there are children and are happy to consult about things which interest you. Things to do range from the unusual - like a cog railway trip Mt Washington or snow tubing at a ski area - to bike or canoe/kayak rentals for the scenic Pemi River which runs through town. And much more! It's a wonderful vacation region!
  • We had a grate stay in this place. The communication was pretty good. We enjoy the winter there, and I’m pretty sure the summer will be amazing too.

    Adriana2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Hospitality was outstanding. At any moment if I needed something it was there. They went above and beyond anyone’s expectations!

  • The communication with Deborah was great. Her condo is simply amazing. It is stylish, quiet, and is in a great location. I would definitely recommend renting this place.

    Sean2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Nice, quiet condo. Plenty of room and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Living room is comfortable and has lots of light. There's no TV, but there are board games and puzzles...and most people travel with their own entertainment these days anyway. For me, no TV was a plus. There are steep stairs outside, but that is mentioned in the description. Location is great, close to downtown area and the local grocery stores, etc. Convenient to both Plymouth State and Holderness School. Great place in Plymouth.

    Soley2020-02-08T00:00:00Z

  • Nice place. Very peaceful, well located. We enjoyed it. The only small negative point, the double bed is not very comfortable. I believe it is due to be changed. Otherwise, excellent stay.
